Player behind L\-'Umber' & L\-'Tachyon' has been sanctioned for:

<Rules broken> 4.1 If you die whilst in a PVP situation, in any form, that character/ship does not re-enter the same system for 2 hours and the Player, on any of their ships, cannot reengage the aggressors on any character for 2 hours. You are allowed a grace period of 5 minutes to leave the system with an empty cargo hold and you are safe from further attack during this grace period within that system. If the attacker(s) log off, you may re-enter the system you died in

Consequences: In Bastile

Any reason why this is not a clear cut violation?

It was and it is quite clear. I did it because of the emotional impulse when I heard that the enemy team have restocked. As it appeared later, only one member of the enemy team restocked on the base and rest have refilled in space. I saw the sanction coming and generally realized all wrongfulness of my actions, but sadly I'm not always can control myself during the emotional outburst.

I'm sorry for my actions and want to appologize before the opposing team. I've deleted my ships once I saw them in Bastille, so there is nothing to move back.

I've discovered myself banned like 3 days ago or so, I was poking around admins and only @St.Denis have replied with the link on this thread.

The sanction itself is not stating anything about the ban from the game. For the absence of the sanction thread that would state that I request to unban me. Or maybe I've missed the point when banning people from the game without any public notices or corpus delicti is normal? I mean I'm trying to be patient and waited, but to be honest after the last sanction against me, I'm not wondering really.

You were banned from the server because you ignored your sanction thread. We saw that you simply deleted your ship, which was not the reason why we put it there. Given that you are on probation, this will result in you talking to us once the Green Room is vacated from the current participants.

I wonder how my self-requested probation (and implemented by poking @Jansen on skype for days, not even by itself) is related to me being banned from the game and a Green Rooms still. I mean this might seem like a good excuse, but it really isn't.

The point of a probational status is not about not posting outside of RP sections. If you had so little self-control over your forum posts, you could have simply asked us to remove your posting rights in those sections. A probational status has to do with evaluating a member's conduct over the course of this period. Self-imposed or no, you have ended up on our desk again, and this time it seems as though you knew full well what you were doing at the time. You will hear from us soon.

Sadly I can't read it, but I can recall the text of my probation request quite well, if it could be done in a different way you should've do it.

I mean you can just bypass the fact that my probation isn't the one that is worth consideration at this point. It's quite legit. Well, I guess probation is only half of the reason of my ban that you named. First one is the following.

I think I'm not ignoring my sanction thread for 2 days now, but ban is still there. Reason why I've deleted my ships is pretty much the same, it was the same evening, worst evening on disco I had in awhile. After that I had a really low motivation to reply since my Sabers were deleted. Not to mention it's a standard punishment in such cases, along with removing the equipment.

But let's look at some other things. For example here person did not reply to the sanction thread while being on the real probation: http://discoverygc.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=148184 and there's a dozen of examples people ignoring the threads. Same rules, same admin team, different things happening.

So I really would like to hear why I'm being banned, want to hear soon as you said. Existing precedents are not stating something like this, nor the server rules that you have to uphold. In all due respect, there are no Green Rooms in the rules and it's just an arbitrariness at this point. If greens wish to talk with me on skype, I will gladly do, but I ask you to follow the server rules and sanction procedures normally and still requesting the unban.
