In coming dark times we are expecting the departure of the Church of Sirius from Malta. However, I and even those Maltese who are not religious cannot let Spirit holy places to raiman abandoned. I do believe that your people can take a good care of them and defend them if needed. Knowing Oracle's past of the Senor Nomak, I don't think I need to explain how important those instalations are. It will also give your organization an additional status on Malta. We can switch on discussing details, once you agree on it essentially.

I think it's needless to say that we are very saddened by these developments. The departure of the Church of Sirius from Malta will surely leave a spiritual void in the hearts of the Maltese people, a dark chasm we'll have a great deal of trouble filling, but we'll do our best, that, I can guarantee. The holy places will be taken care of, and we, as their newfound custodians, will do everything to preserve the traditions that many a Maltese hold to be of utmost importance.

Though the suddenness of this whole ordeal has us perturbed, I personally think this isn't a completely negative thing. A fresh perspective can be beneficial, helping to bring new growth where there was once stagnation. A new generation can mend the errors of its predecessors. I also hold that change is, after all, the zeitgeist of this age.

Wise words, it's good to see the Commune maintaining a good course of actions. I am pretty sure that in time it will help your society to grow and develop. I guess you aware about the reasons of the Oracles departure, recently their behaviour was very strange and absolutely unacceptable.

Since the Commune still is mainly a militant structure, we probably need to create a new institution that will control the matter. Someone is need to maintain contact with Spirits and explain the essence of the Light to Maltese people. We need to be very careful and responsible here, because people the Crimson Cross and the Oracles did more harm than a good deeds. I believe it makes sense to establish Commune-based committee that will be able to handle it.

As the former Oracle Exarch I can offer my services, Marie Mercier former cultist is also perfect for the job. I believe that the Commune can offer quite a bit of decent as well.

The motivations behind the Oracles' strange behavior are unknown to us, and though we struggle to gain understanding, we'll simply opt to not repeat their mistakes, for now.

You are right to claim that the Commune is mainly a militant organization, as indeed, the bulk of our operatives operate in our strike squadrons. Though I predict this trend won't continue for long. We've invested some effort in restructuring our organization, making it more versatile, a recent influx of new people making this a viable possibility. This has given rise to three departments, or cells, if you will - the main one being Nomak's Raider squadrons. The other two being Doctor David Synk's Terminus Research Division, and the Silver Sun, our diplomatic corps, of whom I am the Overseer.

Being also the Commune's representative to the National Council, it falls to me to see this through. Though I could handle the job personally, sadly, I can't be omnipresent, no matter how hard I wish to.

Therefore, I think the most prudent course of action would be to create a new generation of acolytes from Maltese native stock, under the Commune's supervision, and of course, the direct supervision of yourself or Miss Mercier. A transitional structure that will pave the way for a more permanent solution, an organization truly worthy of the Light and everything it stands for.

A sizeable detachment of our assets will be stationed planetside on Malta, once our Compound is completed, and they will do everything in their power to help you in your efforts. If you have any further ideas and suggestions on how to handle this, let me know.
