Today I got my Bison following my promotion to Transporter. Even though it's not fully outfitted I decided to go for an early shakedown cruise to get a feel for the ship. I proceeded to planet New London to pick up Reinforced Alloy and got a full cargo hold. On the way to Elysium I ran into a pirate, saying he was from the Coalition. He was very mean to me and demanded I give him money. He initially demanded 1 million but I bargained it down to 500,000, which I grudgingly complied with. After which I completed my run to Elysium with no additional events.
Supplies delivered to Elysium:
Approx. 4100 tons of Reinforced Alloy.
Captain's Log Entry:
Right after breakfast, I took a trip to Planet Los Angelous to get Food Rations, Oxygen and Water.
Didn't run into any pirates, which means its a good day for base maintenance.
Supplies Delivered to Elysium: 800 Food Rations
800 Water
800 Oxygen
Captains log:
When I went to get some Reinforced alley from New London, I got a little worried cause I sore briefly on scanner was another Pilot. but was fine shortly after. Got back from planet just fine, No rush, no one to talk to and everything was fine.
As I unloaded my Load of Reinforced alley, was thinking of going on a patrol with my Gunboat Walker, my mind had a better idea, and though of going mining, Gone to the bar, left a note on the bar notice Board. After a few moments I had a knock on my Quarters from MacRac, Saying he wants to join me, and we head off to get some ore.
After 3 loads we turned in had enough, Payed his cut of the total costing of the ore earnings on Elysium. Went back into the bar had a beer on me with MacRac he enjoyed himself.
As I was thinking for another Idea what to do next, before the storm hits, I went into my Eagle, Cabot and Flew to Planet Manhattan. As I Chilled outside of the Planet, I've encountered a GMG Pilot Named, Mr Smith. Told them, they didn't have anything I want and he stopped outside Manhattan also, and had a nice talk.
They had some nice backstory, They told me to keep it quite, which I did for a fee, They payed me nicely and we just continued talking normally and came Mates, a really nice Laddie, I told him I will met him later for a further Chat, if they are interested outside Manhattan.

My first task of the day was to mine the Sonora field as has been the routine for quite some time. After making a trip I decided to take my transport for a cargo run. Not being given the trade routes I was left to my own devices to figure out what I was going to do, I decided to run a load of boron from Pittsburgh to New London. Shortly after I ran into a pirate at West Point Academy who demanded $5 million. I tried to bargain him down since that would mean not making a profit or even taking a loss on this run, and the cost of repurchasing my cargo and the repair nanobots and batteries would be substantially less than paying the amount demanded. He refused to come down so I felt I had no other choice but to risk an engagement which I eventually lost. What was disturbing about this incident was how astonishingly ineffective the Liberty Navy 5th fleet was. There were multiple fleet elements in the system and yet such a brazen act of piracy could still occur anyway near one of the Navy's key installations. I would strongly advise filing a complaint with the Liberty Navy regarding it's failure to control piracy in it's home system, they aren't being paid to loaf about polishing the hulls of their shiny new ships while Liberty taxpayers are getting mowed down by bloodthirsty pirate scum.
While I was waiting for the transport to be rebuilt I did another mining run in Vespucci, which was successfully completed without incident.

I attempted to make the boron run from Pittsburgh again, only this time to Newcastle and it was a complete success. From there I proceeded to New London for the reinforced alloy Elysium needs, and successfully transported a full cargo hold.
Total transported to Elysium:
1x4100 tons Reinforced Alloy
Captain's Log Entry:

I began by running a load of silver ore from Elysium to Denver. In New York I did see a pirate but he was heavily engaged against a Liberty Navy patrol. I was very pleased to see the good guys there stomping out the pirate scum. I also saw a couple of Creytor Military ships at Manhattan, they seemed to be on a trading mission. As I was unsure of their status regards friend or foe I chose not risk making contact and have them getting any bad ideas about my cargo. They did not make contact with me so all was well. After making the run to Denver I went to Texas to see if there was anything I could sell in Bretonia, and there was, nanocapcitors from Houston. I then made this run to Newcastle, and from Newcastle I wen to New London where I purchased reinforced alloy for Elysium. The trip to Elysium was uneventful.

While at the bar I was told about the base's need for industrial hardware to support it's expansion project. As soon as I could I grabbed the HighTemplar and headed into Liberty to see where I could locate a source. I found out Trenton Outpost in New York had it at very reasonable prices. I proceeded to haul a full load to Elysium. To make some additional profit I transported hydrocarbons from Birmingham Station in Manchester to Pittsburgh on the return run to Liberty. I then took another load of industrial hardware to Elysium. There were a number of freelancers around Manhatten, but otherwise it was a quiet day. Hopefully these two supply runs will help expedite our expansion efforts.
The office paperwork was complete ahead of schedule, i had a quick snac and ordered DSM)-T.Executive be prepared for immediate departure. Because of the recent Silver requirements increase, we are forced to expand the Elysium facilities. FInally we will be doing something besides spending time in the Sonora Ice Field. I expect the trips to be somewhat uneventful, but it is never a certanty.
The ship and crew were prepared withing 25 minutes and we set of to our destination: Trenton Outpost, New York system
The crew was eager to deliver the materials, they were most engaged. Some minor engineering issues occured during the California system pass. Because the mallfunction was somewhat strange i ordered a full spectral sensory anallisys. After a brief period of time, the reports concluded it was residue radiation from a leftover destroyed vessel. It interfered with the ships sensors showing a false engineering problem. Will have to warn other Sirians as we go along. I surely dont want civilians to think something is faulty with their equipment
California pass was peaceful, so the crew had time to minggle and interact. I must admit, they are the most cheereful bunch i ever met, even in the face of danger they somehow manage to muster a joke, God bless'em.
New York jump is always a pleasure, somehow i feel more at home there, than any other system. I always thought that a saying " Home is where your roots are ", was truly missleading, but i canot explain the feeling of warmth every time i enter here.
And finally, the crew and I, gazed upon the beauty that is - Trenton Outpost. A marvelous piece of station technology i must say. The crew can take a 30 minute break while the cargo is fully loaded
As the cargo bay was full, navigations officer Hannah set a course to our home - Vespucci system. Lane after lane, we were getting closer to California. At West point we met an officer of the law. We greeted him and had a short conversation with a man. According to him, his patrol duty is also uneventful today, which is sad for him but good news for corporate and freelancing traders.
Next was California again, but this time, just before we jumped, I ordered a full stop in front of the opened gate. As the jump sequence began i was stricken with a realization. I never took the time, to view the full beauty before my eyes.
As the gate openes and initiates the jump sequence, there is a marvelous lights display mixed with ion particles and antimatter conversion. It looks as if some unknown force in side the Jump Gate is dancing with the surrounding stars. I cant believe that i made so many jumps in the past, failing to stop for a moment and reckognize this beutifull display.
Its a good thing we took the California Minor lane route to Magellan. As we approached the planet, Ensign Croft begun to studder:
" Umm, eeer, Mr. Gunsmith sir, i a... well.... "
Mr.Gunsmith: " What is it ensign, speak your mind."
Ensign Croft: " Well, you see, my daughter had her 11th birthday today, and in between all the work, i just had no time to buy her a present. But i dont want to be a hassel so maybe its better if we.... "
Mr.Gunsmith: " Nonsense ensign, say no more. God forbid we leave a young lady Croft sad and without a present on her birthday. To all hands!! Prepare for landing on California Minor!! Ensign, you pick up that present and since we are here, we will have lunch. Im craving for those California Minor's famous chicken wings. "
My God those blasted chicken wings. I havent eaten this good in months, im seriously thinking of kidnaping one of their cheff's, or at least blackmailing the man in to working for me, hehehehhe.
We finally set of home, at this point i was eager to see Elysium and Mrs. Gunsmith of course. Lucy always thinks im working too hard. Sometimes i think i dont spend enough time with her and im afraid it could back fire on me one day.
Through Magellan asteroid field, whichi is one of the worst i have ever seen, we finally reached Vespucci. I couldnt help but silently mutter:
" Home sweet home."
Landing at Elysium took more time than usual. Reason?? Well, simply put, the traders love our efficien Silver Ore production, so the landing docks were overcrowded to say the least.
We unloaded yet a third cargo hold for today and i decided it was snough
Time for a break and take Mrs.Gunsmith out for dinner. Somehow i dont think anything will match those damn good chicken wings i had earlier today
