Completly agree here, AVG, Avast and Similar "free" antivirus are crap. Among other things, they are PAID to Trigger game ISOs, crack exe, keygenerators and other free sowtwares, all in effort to reduce piracy and free software on net.
Get rid of AVG as soon you can.
I don't have these issues with Avira. However I usually buy games and support the developers instead of being a prick and steal stuff.

Personally I see piracy as the Winrar free trial. it can last as long as you want and if you aren't going to pay for it before you downloaded it you probably never will. Thus not affecting sales for the developer at all

I never have buy any software and i never will!
Like it was nicley explained in video about winrar that @Laz posted, companies dont live on people who use software in their home PC, they live from companies that buy their licence.
If piracy was such big problem for them, they will starve long time ago, they wuld not rool in cash!
There is no single person on Earth that has buy every software for its home, especially if you do lots of work on PC. They all at some point use some free program or pirated one.
Back on topic, AVG is crap, all you need to confirm that is to simply Google: AVG Wikipedia, then in Wikipedia look under:
Contoversy.
