This is Admiral Knight of the Separatist Battlegroup Harmony speaking,
While the Unioners already told us about your installation, despite your closeness to ours, there's been close to no contact. Our pilots seem to be greeted and allowed to land which already shows you in a good light.
Now the Unioners can tell me much about your intentions, I'm still missing an introduction from your side.
And since you've been considerate enough to clear docking for our vessels I am still very surprised that this didn't go any further.
Now then, if you'd be so kind as to tell me who you are and what your intentions in Bering are?
I was waiting for your Transmission, It didn't take long for you to notice this little station of ours. Oh, I apologise how rude of me, I didn't introduce myself. My name is George Black, I'm the Administrator of the base called Rothaar Huette. I'm also one of the leaders of the group called The Hansa.
Now, that we have both introduced ourselves let's start answering your questions. Shall we? First of all. You were right, we did add Harmony Vessels to the docking list. We have been told that you as well as Unioners control the Bering sector and the only smart thing to do is to collaborate with you. In that case, we are The Hansa and we are looking forward to working with you in future.
Our intentions in Bering are as followed: To manufacture and ship equipment all over Sirius, To store commodities and weaponry, to research high-tech equipment that for now, humankind can barely understand.
I know that this is the first time we have spoken, but I would like to offer a deal. I would like to ask for Harmony ships to let the H)- tagged vessels pass through Bering, nevertheless that they carry an OSC ID. I believe that this is quite a big favour and favours like this have a price. So post your price bellow, I think we can work something out. You seem like a very reasonable person, miss. I'm looking up for your answer.
Before we go any further as to talk about your installation, I need to know more about you.
That identifier is a rather unfortunate choice that'll surely cause many misunderstandings considering its similarities to our own. But that truly is the smaller problem of the two I wanted to talk to you about.
What exactly is an Orbital Spa and Cruise division doing in Bering. Not only dealing here but building a station right there? I am very curious about that explanation and until then you'll be treated as any other foreign entity within the area.
Servus, Admiral Knight. News is buzzing about you.
We might be a foreign group in the area, but we're not here for any foreign interest. The station's a loss-leader to see if we can provide services to the various entities in the area; mostly you, the Unioners, the Junkers, any Zoners left in the picture. We're building a deal in handshakes with the Unioners to use the facility as site for salvage storage and lawful commerce fencing. Contraband isn't our field, but most of what borderworlds organisations need isn't contraband, but off-the-books core worlds products. We're wholesale retailers and crew employers. If you need personnel, buck component purchase, food, water oxygen, whatever you like, we can provide. Any of your crew need a rest-break away from the tanner belt, or you want to organise a secure meeting in a soundproof compartment aboard an unregistered liner? We can book VIPs into the same liner penthouses the Corsairs use for contraband fencing. It's all white collar. Legal to an extent that we don't know what you intend to do with the lawful services we provide, nor are we paid to care. Bering is valuable to us as it's unrestricted by technology registry regulations from either Liberty or Rheinland. That was the word-of-mouth pitch we sold the Unioners - if they hadn't believed us, the base would already be scrapped.
Think of the station as a market place tailored for bespoke over-board services you'd prefer not to have a papertrail for. Any Hanseatic port we establish operates by the laws of the dominant interests in the system - we're here to offer services. If you have any needs that the Hansa can cater for, we'll provide.
I find it highly suspicious that OSC would construct a base in a system as Bering and then rather openly announces the production of weapons. And of course their goal is our holding of the system.
I wouldn't even believe any of this to be true if there wasn't an installation being built in the immediate proximity of our installations. And I really doubt that the 'customers' you'll bring into the area will be benefiting our operations here.
As it stands now, this installation and your presence in Bering are looking like they'll become a huge security risk.
