Not often i find myself posting in this section but I'm having some trouble keeping up with the technicalities behind some of our PoB manufactured equipment. In fact i can't find a guide that accurately or universally addresses these bits of kit and how they work, so i'm putting one together.
Therefore i have a few questions to pose to the community.
Can you offer a short description of the functions of the following equipment and how they operate? In addition can you list any restrictions/limitations imposed on their use? Finally can you outline the cost of running said equipment?
No need to get into the differences between models since that information is readily available.
One last question: Can you give a better description of what the various miscillaneous equipment slots are capable of mounting and if there are any limitations in mounting multiple pieces of equipment?
The Cloak and Cloak Disruptors go on counter measure hard point. The Hyperdrive Modules and Hyperspace Survey Modules are in Equipment section of ship in Equipment Type 1 as hard point for both. I can tell you each Jump battery costs 10,000 and it will cost just under 5 million each jump. On average 450 J Batts unless you hit enter on /jump command right when Jump computer begins to say " jump Drive charge complete". I've got it down to 442 Jump batts each jump now. If you don't hit the /jump command after fully charged it will keep eating Jump Batteries. Last two on your list I have not purchased or built yet so I have no info on them.

OGG mentioned the cloak, cloakdis and drives but i was hoping to get more specific info on what else goes where. I've read in some instances that (for example) you have to choose between the cloak and cloakdis. Is this also the case for other equipment types i've listed?
What's the difference between docking bay slots and heavy docking bay slots?
Is equipment slot 1 reserved exlusively for jump drive gear? The same question goes for the rest.
I can't tell for sure where goes in what - afaik most stuff goes into the Special Equipment Slot 2, however, there are ships that have only one, some have multiple. What I can say for sure is that most of this isn't finished completely and is likely to be switched and swapped around, from what I heard from the yellows.
I did find this in Server Command wiki clicking on white high lighted "Docking Module" https://discoverygc.com/wiki/Docking_Module. I think the Server Commands is where you will find most of the answers you are looking for. ( I knew I read it somewhere 2.5 months ago.) I also think the beacons are relatively new and they haven't any detailed info posted on them. You may have to PM Dev to get info. I understand they are the responsible for all products, systems, bases etc. They would be the ones that have info on beacons. ( Finally I got to post something productive!)
