I am Simone DeLacroix and according to monsieur Patulacci, you are able to help me with one Urgent matter. So my questions is, are you able to help me?

Transmission begins. A man appears, his face a puzzling mix, between curiosity and amusement. His voice is low, smooth and not unfriendly.
Chère madame Delacroix...
Well, all of this is highly unusual. In normal circumstances, I have no clue how I would have greeted this message of yours... He grins. But these are not normal circumstances. Marcel told me you'd reach out to me and made sure I would help you... So, help you, I will. Although, in both our interests, this will need to be kept strictly confidential. And if you're still unsure why, well, you're about to understand.
My name is André Nivaggioni, membre and tribun of the Unione Corse. As a policewoman like you ought to know, the Unione lives to serve, no matter what you might have heard... And today will be another occasion for us to show it. I will help you, then, at the small cost of indulgence on your part in the very, very unlikely event that you should find one of our people doing something the Roi's law forbids him or her to do. That part is non negociable if you wish to enlist the knowledge and support of the Unione Corse. And from what Marcel has told me, you can hardly afford to go without it, given the stakes... He grins, again, his half-smile turning into a full one.
Should you agree to my most generous terms, well... What would you require of the Unione, madame Delacroix ?
A prestu.
Nivaggioni's bemused visage becomes darker and darker as the transmission fades.

I am going to close my eyes, just once, if I see one of your comrades doing something not truly legal in our Kingdom. This is non-negotiable from my side as I would love to get rid of that shady reputation La Police has managed to gain over centuries.
Tribun, I am here to ask you for some information regarding recent event which occurred in our Kingdom. Marcel told me you've got some information about possible human and human organs trafficking and who IS behind it. It's of important matter, not because of my career, but because of people and their safety, you can imagine how many people had to be sacrificed for more than 3,000 boxes with human organs, oui? Are you able to provide me with some relevant information?

From : André Nivaggioni, membre and tribun of the Unione Corse. Location : WEAK SIGNAL - Somewhere in the Tau region. Encryption strength : Casgiu merzu Recipient : Inspectrice Simone Delacroix Sujet : Misplaced organs
Transmission begins. Nivaggioni appears wearing a leather jacket and his usual half-smile. The background is little more than steel and darkness.
Chère madame Delacroix,
You drive a hard bargain. I will however accept your offer, not that it changes much : for you to catch us doing vile things, we'd have to do said vile things, first. And that notion is so preposterous that it pains me tremendously to even mention it ! Although... one never knows : the Unione detests having to pay the parking fines of its members, who have been known to scorn royal parking regulations, so if you could do something about that the next time... He chuckles.
Right, on to the matter at hand, then. Marcel was right to send you our way : as you know, the Unione Corse knows a great deal about the Gallic underworld thanks to valuable contacts in all the right places.
And as it happens, I have heard a rumour. Several, in fact, and for a good while. There has been consistent talks of human trafficking in the planar northern parts of Gallia, circling around the core systems... Destitute people are brought in, fresh organs come out. As it stands, we're unsure of where these people come from, or who... "processes" them, or where exactly.
I'm aware of the Unione Corse's name being often slandered by corporations, who accuse us of ferrying less-than-legal goods all around Gallia. While I deservedly scorn these baseless allegations, I can certify you, on my word, that we have an extremely aggressive stance on human trafficking. Our ships have often lent a hand to the IMG and Zoners of the Tau region against the vile Maltese and their heinous trade : we've liberated thousands of slaves from their ugly hands, but none of the poor souls had any idea where they were being shipped. One would think Malta, but our men have caught sight of the yellow scoundrels going as far as Lorraine. Nobody knows how !
It seems strange that the Maltese would venture much further in our territories, however. They are certainly assisted by someone from the inside... The Conseillards and even the Maquisards would balk at the idea, as would we. This leaves us with the uncontrollable, wild and profit-driven Brigands... Surely a lead you should follow. And according to our informations, one you've already started tracking from up close... Anyhow, not my business to interfere in police affairs.
One last thing : visit Picardy. According to what little information we gathered on this traffic, there seems to be more to this system than miners and an ecological disaster in progress.
Good luck in your... Investigation, inspectrice.
Nivaggioni's more serious than usual visage fades as the transmission cuts to black.
