They had the privilege and liberty to be above it. In Vanilia, Order had to never compete with Core and civilians/explorer/pioneers/hermits aka Zoners were virtually not present in the deeper Omicrons to cause any tensions.
In Disco, factions knock at doors on our "secret refuge" on almost daily basis and threat of invasion from say: Rheinland is increasingly becoming more and more real with House corps and navies expansion into the border & edge worlds. Vanilia Order had always lead people to their deaths for a greater purpose. If it weren't for stopping NOmads, it was due to their interference into every single conflict in Sirius sector, even if indirect. The Order, like modern intelligence agencies are not white knights. They're bad people enlisted to serve their country/ideology.
No matter how you put it, Order always had blood on their hands.
All fine and good, but you overstepped that part of the order's seriousness when you threatened to use weapons of mass destruction on a planet that wasn't even remotely involved. You think you are playing the Order, but you're probably the only one thinking that. Just to clarify the important difference between the Order that pretended to be terrorists and the Order that is terrorists.

Just as the constant increase of entropy is the basic law of the universe, so it is the basic law of life to struggle against entropy. - V. Havel
Pretty much all I planned to say to the above. I am actually surprised you rather focus on supporting opinions that are not doing anything but supporting my pov on how much you guys hate Golly than what Skorak said.
Skorak has a point there, there aren't really good options available to you. But with FL ID it could still be done tbh. I am actually surprised you didn't say anything regarding the LSF idea yet. It wouldn't be perfect but definetly better than FL ID. (And I suppose RPing it out as a Battlegroup made out of Kalh, Vex and rogue elements of the LSF following their goals is easier than building it up from FL ID basis)
Edit: Before you even attempt to reply to it in means to cry/whatever about the stuff you said yourself and how I think about it. Spare yourself the effort, I see no use in discussing things in a faction thread that simply asked for help with their choice of ID and IFF

As for Aux, they have been a key factor in the RP of not only the RP for the two SRP ships in the faction, but the viewpoint as well.
Can we get away from this trend of describing every ingame encounter which results in one side or another getting shot being the result of Oorp Favouritism?
UN didn't talk to Kahl Oorply until 3 friendly encounters after dozens of hostile and neutral ones with his character. It's not about indie SRP battleships either - UN supports enemies of Liberty for whatever motivation because they want to keep shipping contraband and keep Bering a safe haven for black marketeering. Besides, Rheinlanders have some bad blood with the Nomads and Liberty is the ideological pariah of what the Unioners stand for.
