We at the Technocracy have raised various brows at the on-going political state with the Legion's new... look. We are wondering if the goals of this... Insurgency remain the same? We also ponder upon your ideological stand points and new relationships with organisations.
Until we resolve the new discrepancy found between our organisations relations, we have deemed it appropriate to temporarily suspend any Insurgency capital vessel permission to move near our controlled stations.
You caution is expected, and probably warranted too. A stable region nearby goes up in civil conflict, and the last thing I'd expect is people accepting the status quo.
The Insurgency, however, is an amalgamation of more than just those the Legion retained after the Commonwealth's forced abdication, with with the same goals in mind. While we'll obviously still need to keep our other cooperative friends and whatnot in sight, the Legion has no intention of letting old friends go, and likely may even look beyond what the Legion's original mission statement curtailed.
In short, the Legion has changed, yes, but the same men and women who served her still serve today, though we have more people thanks to a combined force from the old Separatist movement. The paint changed, but the internals are still the same, just with more baggage in the backseat.
I believe earlier Auxesia also asked about current agreements, to which I had unintentionally neglected to reply. Rest assured that the Legion's command structure has every intention of respecting these agreements, so long as Auxesia remains intent as well.
Hopefully without the baggage of the Commonwealth we can reach bigger heights.
I hope this clears things up.

We do ponder, what has lead to the Commonwealth being forcefully dissolved? And what of the more conflicting reputation that the Legion once had? Such as the Junkers. The Legion had terrible relations with them, but not the Separatists. What is your diplomacy like? Similar to the past? What of other organisations such as the Unioners, Lane Hackers, or Rogues?
It is relieving to hear that the previous agreements are still desired. Such feelings are mutual, we are more than happy to keep our free flow of trade, freedom of movement, population migration pacts and defensive pacts. Though, what of our technology trades?
The Commonwealth was dissolved because their selfish interests conflicted with the Legion's doctrine, and their refusal to provide reinforcements during two major Legion operations was considered more than sufficient grounds to declare their ruling body null and void. I doubt any of my men will miss them, though the civilians on Veracruz will likely take longer to accept the reality of the situation. Before, I had asked Auxesia to keep watch for any Commonwealth officials, and I would ask that you remain vigil. While we have captured many officials, including much of the cabinet, several individuals are still wanted for the treason they committed, and there's no telling what lengths they can go to.
Moving onward..
The Legion's diplomacy was a mixed bag of rabid cats, I agree. Connections with the Separatists have mended some of these relations, fueled cooperation with few, and barely done anything for the rest. The Junkers are neutral, if batting a stray eye towards Arbiters with no intention to halt their less-than-lawful activities. The same can be said for the Rogues, as I have no doubt they welcome another hand of guns that make their piracy considerably easier.
The Hackers and Unioners are another field altogether. I myself personally despise the Professorship, as we've had.. dealings that were fairly one-sided. Neutrality does stand, though, with Knight at the helm.
The Unioners are a class by themselves. The Seps had no love for them. The Legion had no love for them. I know you have no love for them, either, so it's safe to say we can all stand on even footing when it comes to Frei and his troop of douchebags.
Finally, trades.
When I said we would honor our existing trade agreements, I meant all of them. Technology as well. Should you come across any issues, let us know. Cross-faction technology issues do arise, and it's better if I let my boys know about it before it becomes a real issue.
Hope this clears things up further. You know where to drop a line if you have no inquiries.

Treason? That is concerning. What did they do? What were the Commonwealth elements focusing on, what was their agenda?
As for the previous barring of your vessels, the access is now fully restored in nature of continuing with our collaboration. It is good to hear that we have a common foe at least.
As I said, the Commonwealth's refusal to support the Legion, its military I'll remind you, during not one but two major operations was found to be sufficient evidence to convict them of treason. The Commonwealth was solely focused with their survival, instead of supporting the very military that had kept them in power for as long as they had been. It's unfortunate, but their time was coming eventually. Resources the Legion could use to secure the very border they wanted us to defend were being sapped into civil infrastructure projects, leaving the Legion to deteriorate over the last two years.
In the end, their fears were met and aside from the loss of Ravager their meager resistance was met with some of the first progress in Vespucci since the days of Marcus Brass. A shame for them, but I'm sure it's a better fate for them than what the Republic would have had for them had they kept laundering our defense funding.
I look forward to seeing what this new age of progression entails.
