This does mean BMM/BMF will lose access to Diamonds in lore (their bonuses can remain I guess, though they will have to fly to Omega-7 first, and will feel like they are picking Rheinlands pockets, which is not necessarily a bad thing).
This is going to be a strange thing, Actually the strangest change on discovery ever
BMM/BMF factions travel to non-sovereign space and mine there, putting themselves under the Rhinelanders authorities while they are Bretonians...
I think this might need some reconsideration Mr. @Markam Cheers

Omega 11 was hardly ever under Rheinland's authority. Now, with Solarious station gone and with even more internal strife, there are even fewer options for Rheinland to enforce its authority over Omega 11. For all intents and purposes Omega 11 is now an independent frontier system. In vanilla the BMM and other Bretonian factions had a history of trying to establish outposts in far away corners of Sirius. Think Tau 37 gate construction site in Tau 23. Sirius is a vast place, even in New York you have unlawful bases, more or less safe from the authorities.

@Strichev - Thank you very much for the clarification, I think you are correct. @Markam - Please don't forget to move the anomalies mining field that was in Omega 2 to maybe Omega 3?
Why should a mining field favour Bretonian playerbase? Do you have special needs? Put the field closer to the center of Omegas, so all population of said sector would have access to the field.
Is it possible to re-add the Omega-11 system without removing the Omega-2 system? Then link them together through a jump hole or something. I think that would be a nice backdoor from the Bretonia space to Rhineland space through the omegas - Please let me know what ya think about it.
I am a fan of adding more than replacing or removing.
No, omega 2 is atrocious and should be deleted. It offers nothing beyond a mining spot, the starsphere is too bright for prolonged fights as we've seen in the past.

When it is too bright for prolonged fights, then it's not serving PVP lovers only which means that it's not bad for everyone else
I think there are more than just PVP players here xD - I like a lot when you started your reply by "NO" ... lol
