Direktor of the Spezialoperationsabteilung,
It's been a while since I met you. There's no need for initial introduction; you may know me as the pilot of the "Heimdall'-class gunboat, the Ymir. I have two main points to consider.
First, the Omega-48 system. The system has been recently reclassified, and it seems the pathetic Military is trying to extend its sore hand into the doorsteps of our Coalition ally. I've taken a look into this system and what I found were three of their snubcraft - two bombers and one fighter. If it weren't for your assist I would not have made out of the situation comfortably. I've rented a small flat in the outskirts of Tangier's capital city, the coordinates will be given to you in case we want to meet face to face.
Now, for the second part. I've finally decided to join the Spezialoperationsabteilung, which you told me about earlier. In addition, I would also like to request the transfer of the gunboat Ymir to the Spezialoperationsabteilung under my command. I will do whatever I can to serve the Volksrevolution and help free Rheinland of their imperialist ambitions and other external threats such as the Corsair menace.
I hope all of these terms are agreeable to you, Direktor.

Herr Eriksson
It is quite unusual that those who want to join the SOA contact me directly. However, I remember speaking to you in front of Tangier and basically "inviting" you to join our ranks. Joining the SOA usually requires the rank of Lieutenant inside the Red Hessian Army but we've made exceptions in the past. The SOA will run a background check on your Herr Eriksson and I will get to you when it's done. In the meantime it'll be better if we meet on Vogtland instead, Tangier is a bit too.. "hot" for my liking. You can speed up the process of the background check if you tell me more about yourself.
This is all for now.

Direktor of the Spezialoperationsabteilung,
Sorry if I wasn't that comprehensive in telling you about my history. Born on Vogtland in 802 AS, I was raised firmly within the socialist beliefs of the Hessians. Knowing and fulfilling the Volksrevolution is second nature to me. My parents considered me talented and so taught me all of the things that can aid in my future. At the age of 13, I already knew how to pilot a ship, and at an age of 16, I managed to rob a Daumann convoy and fended off their escorts with the help of my father. When my father died in 820 AS, he gave me the gunboat and ever since then I honed my skills in it, to the point where I can comfortably handle any situation, such as an attack by the Military or a Corsair invasion.
I am sure you have noticed my talent, and had asked me beforehand for possible membership. Even though I have quite the proficiency, I still consider myself as a learner. I'll be there in Vogtland shortly. I hope I can be a good example of what the Spezialoperationsabteilung can do to fulfill the Volksrevolution's goals and ideals.

Herr Eriksson
We all have our reasons why we have joined Volksrevolution. I've seen your skills in combat that day which was quite impressive I have to admit. However, the SOA looks for operatives that are versatile, adaptable, creative, and durable. You're saying you are capable enough to withstand a Corsair invasion? This is an insult for every man and woman who died in the Corsair attacks in Fólkvangr, the great battles of the Hammenhole witnessed countless of them. I surely do look for qualified pilots for my ranks because we're those who stay behind enemy lines and operate under the toughest conditions against the odds and succeed.
The real question is Herr Eriksson what else besides your piloting skills can you offer that can be of use for the SOA?

Direktor of the Spezialoperationsabteilung,
The real deal is, I know my responsibilities enough to know what is best for the Volksrevolution. I am not a simple-minded fool who charges at an enemy fleet and expect to die for nothing, I assure you, I am quite an adaptable person. If you can muster the right tactics, you can find the best way to deal with a situation no matter how hard it is. That is endurance, and it's one of the skills that a SOA operative possesses. We aren't fighting a perfect enemy; they have flaws that, no matter how small, should ideally turn out to be their downfall if exploited correctly.
And for your question, Direktor, is that besides the capability to pilot a ship, a useful operative knows the most minute of details of what they are dealing with. The ability to think beyond the box is what makes them efficient planners for every operation the SOA undertakes. Another important thing is the ability to infiltrate hostile organizations. He or she must know the essentials of these organizations, particularly their inner workings. It also helps to be up of date whenever something new comes up from them, so that the SOA can devise tactics to counter them. And lastly, he or she must know how to advance the SOA's efforts into specialized warfare. Not just the physical, but also the mental aspects of operatives who are expected to further the ideals of the Volksrevolution through research into innovative ways of addressing existing problems, both internal and external.
Having said all of that, I shall work on these skills that every capable Spezialoperationsabteilung operative needs. Versatility is the ability to function in many tasks successfully. Adaptability is the ability to find ways that can lead a favorable outcome. Creativity is the ability to devise new plans that can improve our operations. Finally, durability is the ability to stay firm in difficult situations and still come out on top.

Herr Eriksson
I kinda enjoyed reading the words that you have put so carefully together. I had the feeling I was reading an information brochure of the SOA. Since I've already put you so long on the wait I'll be putting you into the SOA under my direct supervision, you will report to me and the Oberkommando der Rote Hessen Armee. Be nice to our allies Eriksson, it would be a shame losing a pilot like you.
