Misc
Armors removed
CMs limited and nerfed
Cruise disruptors given more variety and weakness/strengths
Cloaking now consumes batteries according to your speed
- getting very close to an enemy or letting an enemy get close to you will uncloak you
- beep sound only audible to grouped members
- if you move fast or cruise, you'll eat lots of batteries
- crawling or moving at low speed makes your cloak last for a long time

Missiles:
- Much more ammo
- Turn slower and have limited seeker arcs
- Much faster at longer ranges, use them at max range
- Balance pass, big threats
- Made very efficient
- Can now be avoided using evasive maneuvers
New mining mechanics
New docking mechanics:
- Docking is now persistent
- this means that if you dock a ship in a carrier and log off, you can re-log and you'll be docked within the carrier and spawn next to it
- docking in a carrier then dying will make you spawn in the carrier. carriers are true mobile bases now
- Docking is now risk/reward
- automatic allow dock for ships grouped with you
- both ships must be at 0 speed and not move
- 3-5 seconds docking time - which is a lot, be very careful when docking mid battle to not get instakilled. snub shield also goes down during this time.
- player docking now REPAIRS AND REARMS with no PVP death, making carriers extremely useful to snubs in battle
Snubs
General:
- Instakill snub loadouts removed
Fighters:
- All can equip 2 heavy weapons (eg razor) or 2 missiles
- Fighters can now carry many more missiles
- lots of weapons had damage/dps changes
Bombers:
- SNAC is now antishield
- Bombs nerfed
- Nova torpedos deal more damage
- Corona beam replaced with railgun
Transports, Frigates, Liners
General:
- Health increased to ships that can mount cau6
Capitals
General:
- Armor removed. they're now built-in on the price of the ship.
- Engine Kill for capitals heavier than gunboats removed. what will happen is you'll come to a dead stop very fast
- Ships turn and accelerate slower and have slower reaction to movement inputs
- heavier slots turn much slower, changing targets quickly and tracking fast targets will be very difficult with the main weapons
- use lighter weapons or fast tracking heavies like solarises or tachyons to engage smaller, faster targets. mortaring or impacting snubs is no longer viable.
- Very important change: firing all guns is no longer efficient, pick the best gun for the situation and use it
- ships have lower energy regeneration and more core
- fewer turrets for most ships, but individual guns are much more powerful. a battlecruiser sec turret deals 4x-5x more DPS than a single battlecruiser sec turret on old patch
Gunboats reworked:
- have powerful mine launchers and forward gun
- are very strong in swarms against any capital ship
Cruisers:
- They can thrust for longer. Cruiser weapons reworked and rebalanced
- They should engage other cruisers in close range and larger ships at longer range with missiles and mortars
Battlecruisers reworked:
- Have 5 main weapons: One gigacannon in the middle that can fire backwards and to the sides, 4 cruiser heavies
- the BC main cannon is very efficient and deals lots of damage. avoid having this gun pointed at you, keep yours pointed at the enemy.
- Have thrusters similar to cruisers', but can be destroyed
- Have 3 weakspots. damaging these weakspots deal critical hit damage that can quickly erase the health of a battlecruiser
- Engines
- having engines destroyed will lower your maximum speed via thruster
- Shield
- Having shield destroyed = no more shield for you
- Fire control / The Bridge / The Front
- losing the fire control will lower your core recharge significantly, making recharging your weapons a pain in the ass
- To kill a battlecruiser, go for weakspots
- They also now have a very op EMP flak that scatters missiles, instantly deshields snubs and drains their core, also a good short range pulse
- only work at a certain "sweet spot" range
Battleships bandaid'd:
- Heavy weapons made to fire faster, lower damage, about the same or less TTK in relation to old patch
- they got some new short range weapons. Some weapons had a class change
- max range of weapons is now 3.5k instead of 5k
- they have less health than battlecruisers
- but they have no weakspots, which means they effectively have more health than battlecruisers
- Best DPS out of any class
