The events didn't unfold the way I wanted, I figured we would have to fight - I didn't figure the Kolleda would be so naive as to streamline ahead of the fleet.
Let's just say for now... not all is quite lost.
At the bare minimum, no one will get their hands on NEUROTOXIN or the Dragon's Egg. But after seeing the power displayed by both I figure it's only a matter of time before people start trying to infiltrate Thuringia more and more.
I've told the Auxesians to steer clear of Thuringia and Rheinland, if they continue to snoop around here afterward... My patience will be all but gone completely.
In comparison to them, I appreciate you being transparent with me, they all had the impression I didn't know who you were or what had happened. They all assumed I didn't know you would attract the aliens as well. I guarantee that's why Civil Servant tried to announce that I was "compromised".
I think I'm the only person in this ring of drama who hasn't been incubated, mauled, manipulated, or mind-flayed by an alien at all.
Both ends of the spectrum seem to be at each other's throats. Civil Servant has admitted to me that he succumbed to the nomad's influence at one point, and he's now probably following the ultimatum the Auxesians tried to push on me. Of all the people in this circle, him stabbing me in the back was what was the worst of it all. I definitely will not forget that at all. He dragged me into this... ugh forget it.
One side brings me an ultimatum and tells me that their way is the only way, and all they have to show for it is being helpless to the nomads who will eventually just push us to leave in one form or the other. The other side has done nothing but pass me along information and stay clear of this whole thing.
I think the decision is pretty cut and dry for me at this point.
But back to it, this is far from over.
The Unione Corse have failed to deliver on their offer, and while I don't necessarily need it - having it would be a good reference for error. Those Warwolf scans are a must, if I can't throw money at the situation - perhaps I can just do what we did before. If you're up to the task, let me know.
There will always be more solutions on the table. We just don't see them, because something or someone is pulling wool over our eyes. The Technocracy's way is, in my opinion, the worst outcome. Time and again they've proved their allegiance with the Nomads. Nobody can tell anymore if these bastards want to save humanity or doom it at the aliens' behest.
...alas, you don't need me to state the obvious here. You're a lot more capable than most other individuals with a posh rank attached to their name.
As for your Warwolf? Yeah, I guess I can help. Give me a little bit of time here, though. I'm a bit busy with a small upgrade from the 'Hackers. That fight in the Sigmas knocked a few crucial parts out of me. I was due an update anyway. Don't arrest me over it, yeah?
Good to hear, I'll let you know if I hear back from the Unione Corse.
On the matter of well... you I suppose. Would the other avenue you pitched to me earlier strip you of that Key status? I'm going to be away for a bit. If you're still interested in a miracle - now is the time to say so.
Until then the question of your visa is a complicated one, the KPR are unwilling to accept the sponsorship idea I had in mind for legitimacy reasons. It must be from lack of trust if anything, I've never had this problem with the Military leadership ever.
Steer clear of Rheinland for now, the Auxesians have been told to do the same - specifically Lazurith.
Until I can sort this whole thing out, I don't want anyone or anything jeopardizing my second shot. I don't consider your narrative to be a liability, but the fact that you can attract aliens anywhere you go is something to note.
As far as I know nothing can r̶e̷m̶o̶v̴e̴ the mark. Believe me - I've tried. What I did have in mind however isn't something I'm going to talk openly about over the N̵e̸u̴r̵a̷l̸ ̶N̸e̸t̴. Miracles base themselves on chances. I like to believe that I'm going to improve our odds one way or another.
As for Lazur̵i̵t̵h̵. Despite appearances I'd like to ask you not to kill the kid. He's in the same situation I used to be in back in the day, if you remember. Pulled by all sides, thought of as a toy. Pet, whatever. He's experiencing the same stress. He's bound to overstep and possibly enter Thuringia anyway. I'm not his Guardian Angel anymore, but that doesn't mean he should die because others push him towards wishing to have a say in all this.
And for the record, yeah. I'll stay out of Thuringia. I'll keep tabs on Sentinel activity through the T̸r̸i̴a̵g̵e̵ ̴A̵n̷o̷m̶a̷l̶y̶ in Kepler. So far things are quiet. Sometimes the eyes blink - murmurs can be heard from the other side.
