I will not mince words here. We here at Cairo find it rather regrettable that we must request additional information regarding Incident CLB-47 due to some complicated circumstances, as we are in need of a... second opinion, if you will, due to your direct involvement. Filed today at 0900 hours, fresh from the oven, we will append down below the circumstances of the aforementioned event. We will also append a file of our rascal, as we require you to confirm her identity, seeing as agent Vagabond was the only in-flight agent who delivered her directly to us here on Cairo. We implore you to share anything that may be of use to seal or help this case. Any opinions or observations or even personal statements you might have about this ensign are most welcome, as we will present this case to the upper brass, seeing as they are the ones who will get the last word in and finally seal the deal.
We are eagerly awaiting your response.

- VIOLATION REPORT CLB #047 -
Violation(s) type:Internal, Insubordination, Disruption and damage to military assets, Training flight zone disruption, Abuse of military assets without assigned individual rank license, General malfeasance.
Violation(s) culprit:Ensign Morgan Palmer
Incident overview:Ensign Morgan Palmer is suspected to have gained possession of Ensign Winston Grant's access key and controls to his personal designated training ship, ID corresponding to the "Bastet 05BLK-4" unit, to be solely and exclusively used within the designated training area of Akabat during flight training hours. Ensign Palmer gained access to aforementioned vessel, and feigned her identity as that of Ensign Grant in order to gain access outside of the designated training perimeter, under the guise of "special permissions". Ensign Palmer was later spotted, and apprehended by Section Eight agent Vagabond, and later delivered to Cairo's brig for interrogation and detention.
General overview: Born and raised on Planet Honshu, Ensign Palmer is the only daughter of Staff Sergeant Jordan Palmer. According to his personal datalogs, Sergeant Palmer returned to Honshu shortly after the attack on Toledo to pick her up and transfer her in the civilian ranks of the Order upon her personal request at a very young age. Ensign Palmer's growth continued consistently within the Order, until she volunteered as a somewhat capable pilot within the military pilot corps. Her quick-thinking and cautious decision making are both greatly offset by her uncooperative and often scatterbrained behavior, defining her as a rather difficult ensign to work with.

Re: Violation report CLB #047 inquiry
Good evening,
Operative Vagabond has made following informal statement concerning the incident:
Quote:Someone's gonna want to have a word with flight training over on Akabat. Ran into a rookie today, bashing a training ship against every rock between the Mu and Delta holes. Jammed throttle, I think it was. Took a wasp to cut off its engines altogether before she could smear herself across an asteroid or, worse, my ship. Anyway, once she was done throwing up all over the cockpit, she explained what she was doing. Extra training. That's what she called it. Extra training. Jacked another rookie's keys, boarded their ship, got spaceborne, flew out to Zeta, did all that without getting tackled, tazed, or shot down. And all because she wasn't getting enough flight hours in to pass the tests. Can you believe it?
Now, if you ask me - yeah, I know, you won't - but if you did, I'd say we need more people with balls like hers. No, of course I didn't tell her that. I told her she's to do things by the books. Doubt she will, of course. Point is, we shouldn't be stifling people who have that kinda dedication and sheer [redacted] gusto for the job. Sure, hijacking military hardware shouldn't be encouraged, but you get the idea, right? Anyway, so, I was at the bar with this redhead. Huge ti-
Section 8 agrees with Vagabond's conclusion that Ensign Palmer's enthusiasm should be lauded and her commitment to a future in the Order's paramilitary operations encouraged. Section 8 therefore advises leniency in the matter.
