Foreword:
Empire of flight is a new neural net distributed magazine reviewing different ships(usually 2 at a time) in a more technical way, than the one you are used to hear. The magazine will come out weekly, there will be special editions for distinguished vessels. From the whole team of the magazine I wish you pleasant reading.

The Sabre is powered by a radial fusion generator directly linked to the main engine. The extreme
cooling of the reactor and the engine allows it boost mind mind dazzling power output. The dampening
exhaust prevents dispersions of the Ion stream instead funneling it to a specific direction, thus giving the
fighter it's excellent turn rate and maneuverability. When the dampening exhausts are active the fighters
follows generally linear spaceflight "nose-front,engine-back" patter, it is a common practice to actually "kill
the engines in flight so the fighter could gain angular momentum. The engine reheaters could restart the
engine in just 1 second making the flight patter much more unpredictable. It is a double bladed sword tough
a cruise disruptor could re-engage the engine reheaters and in term the dampening exhaust turning the
fighter into a sitting duck. The Borderworld's engineers have managed to
ingeniously combine the Supercooler and the intake which runs the entire length of the upper wing. The
grilled surface acts as a radiator in vacuum and directs the air flow during atmospheric flight, the air goes in
the front base of the wing and exits on the back, that feature is also present in other Borderworlds designs
such as the "Dagger". Implementing a small reactor that produces more power generally means more heat
generated, and once that was solved the ship was lighter than most of it's "very heavy" counterparts. It also
meant that the "Z" series could carry up to 70 metric tons of cargo in a container located underneath the
upper hull's cowling. Modifications to the fighter like heavier armor however reduce the cargo capacity by at
least 20 metric tons in order for the fighter to retain it's maneuverability. The border worlds are a
dangerous place, and survival of the pilot means everything, this is reflected in the Sabre as well. The nano
bot tanks are located under the cockpit and life support systems, in case of emergency the cockpit could be
resealed in a matter of milliseconds and ruptured oxygen tank could be resealed in the blink of an eye. At
the front of the fighter lies the electronic equipment the cargo scanner is at the very front right behind it are
the communications and main sensors. Right behind them in the lager part of the nose section lies the
tractor beam. The beam itself is appears to originate from the very front of the fighter this however is not
exactly true, the beam that originates from the emitter is an invisible ray of neutrons which can freely pass
through any surface without risk of tractoring any ships components in. At the very front of the fighter there
is a polarizing targeting matrix, the colored beam originates from there the matrix also encodes the neutron
pattern of the target so a specific object can be tractored in. The targeting modules sit in small antennas at
the top of the fins, the module calculates the velocity and direction of the targeted object so a leading
pointer can appear on the pilots HUD. The weapons system of the Saber are just as lethal as the name of
the fighter in total of 7 forward firing guns the Sabre is never outgunned. The get the power need from
capacitors resting at the base of the gun slots, the capacitors are charged by the reactor, so when other
power consuming systems are engaged (cruise engine for instance) the capacitors could not fully recharge
and the energy stored in them is enough for 3-4 shots at full power. In conclusion hundreds of pages could
be written about this excellent fighter, but one thing is for sure, no matter if you are a freelancer looking for
massive firepower, Hessian, Outcasts or Hacker, the Borderwords Series "Z" Saber is one of sectors top
fighters, it has been and it will be

This bird might look like it just rolled of the fashion exhibit but don't be fooled by the looks, this beauty can
bite, and it can bite fast! As a NAVAL fighter it was designed to operate from carriers and dreadnoughts but
it used from surface bases as well, though features of it's NAVAL purpose are largely evident
Unlike the "Sabre" the reactor is connected to both of the engines squeezing
maximum performance the extra added chemical tanks speed up the reactions in the reactor when needed
and the free flow Ion drives burn a line trough any system this fighter flies in. The Liberty NAVY have
chosen to rely on the new fission reactor to provide the power for the Guardian instead of the fusion power
plant used in the Defender. As a result the Guardian is able to match the power generation of the Saber, but
with one gun less to feed, this in term means less firepower , but slower energy depletion rate by the
capacitors. The heat generated by the reactor is significantly less than that of the fusion power plants like
the one found in the "Z" series, so less cooling is required. However this does not mean it was neglected. At
rear side of the ship right next to the "spoiler" 2 large circular radiators connected to engines supercoolers
can be found, Libertonian engineers demonstrated their 'think outside the box' way of designing, when they
incorporated cooling slots into the radiators, this mean that a large pipe pumping freon directly from the
battleships' cooling system, a fighter that would normally take an hour to cool down only takes 12 seconds
using that method meaning that it could get back in the fight quicker if overheat does occur. Liberty's
philosophy of safety first can be clearly seen in the way of position of nano bots and shield batteries.
Usually the nano bots tanks are positioned next to each other, requiring less calculation where a specific bot
should go. Instead the two nano bots tanks are situated at both ends of the "damage control"
compartment, the nanobots could respond instantaneously to both the cockpit and the reactor sealing a
reactor leak or securing the atmosphere for the pilot. The position of the tanks requires more
sophisticated calculations. However this is not a problem due to the quantum processing core that is
outfitter, this in turn makes the fighter true to the Libertonian centuries legacy of equipping complex
computer systems on military vehicles. The "motherboard" which in most spaceships of the fighter- freighter
range use as a primary computer (like the Sabre) here is used as a computer monitoring Life support
comms and the different scanners. Instead of using 4 different devices like the Saber, the Guardian uses a
4 component antenna, simplifying the construction and reducing energy losses- something extremely
valuable during space dogfights. The weapon capacitors used on the Guardian were produced by Ageira
Technologies, presenting a little technological marvel themselves. The capacitors can charge discharge and
recharge with less than 0.000000001294 Coulombs energy loss. Unfortunately the weapons currently
produced by Liberty somehow cannot exploit the great potential of the fighter, making pilots with the right
credit balance to look for alternative at freelance traders. The wings of the fighter can be folder by 6
hydraulic cylinders in each wing, allowing the Guardian to take less space when on carriers and battleships
Final Words? Beauty! Beauty on the deck, beauty in space, beauty in space...A deadly diamond in the crown
of Libertonian engineering all encased stylish Art-Deco look.
