The [C]ouncil & 'Guests' Mini-Event Sunday, June 12 - 16:30 GMT
First and foremost, let me thank Veyron who made this mini-event of sorts possible. And then, as a quick explanation, this event is set up to help an upcoming story of mine which is based on interaction with [C] (Obviously) and will be played out in form of a mini-event to help keep things more organized. That said, the detailed description of the event is as follows:
»Prologue:
June 7, 819 A.S. - A Sirian freelancer, aerelm, who's been spending the past couple of months in Tau region, decides to take a trip into the remote sector called 'Gallia', where he knew he'd find adventure and danger - Both of which were what he, as an explorer, was looking for. So, taking the known route via Orkney system, he reaches the unfamiliar and hostile space of Gallia. Spending a couple of days in outskirt of Gallic border worlds, and only stopping by the few Council bases he knew to rearm and resupply, and in the end, finding nothing as interesting as he had hoped, he decides to call it the end of his journey and return to Sirius taking the route he had came in from, unaware of the other jumphole to Sirius only one system away which would lead him straight into the friendly outcast space.
June 11, 735 A.G.S. - Reports from Planet Quillan fighter maintenance facilities indicate that two racks of Council fighter weaponry have gone missing, along with a set of Mark VIII standard snubcraft hull upgrade kit. With no reports of intrusion, the equipment have been labeled as missing, and the search continues in close proximity of the Council installation in the area. However, Jean Rousseau, a trans-Gallia smuggler was the one responsible for the missing equipment. Managing to bribe two of the technicians working in the maintenance hangars, during what appeared to be a regular checkup on his freighter he had managed to load up the equipment and leave the planet unnoticed.
His plan was to move the guns to Sirius black market and sell it to the highest bidder, hoping to make a living with the 'uncommon' guns he had to offer. But he knew, going through Montpellier & Reunion would be the riskiest part of his trip. Thus, his decision was to wait for a day then move out and try to pass the guns to Sirius under the radar.
»The Event:
June 12, 819 A.S./735 A.G.S. - Desperately looking for a way to sneak past the Council outpost unnoticed, Jean Rousseau runs into a freelancer in Sirian ship, searching for the way out of the system and back to Sirius. Seeing the situation is most fitting with his needs, the freighter captain offers to show the freelancer the route through the minefield, if in return, the freelancer escorts him to Barrier Gate station in Coronado system. Unaware of the danger involved, the freelancer accepts the freighter captain's offer, and they head toward Orkney jumphole with a plan to fly below the minefield, and try to circle their way into the opening while keeping the longest possible distance from the Council outpost.
Their plan being a flawed one, soon as they enter Montpellier scanner range, the station scan post picks up the unusual cargo of the freighter, so both ships are hailed and ordered to cut their engines and a fighter wing is dispatched to intercept the two ships and investigate the cargo. But as the freighter and its escort refuse to stop, which results in fighter wing disrupting their cruise and ordering them to drop the cargo, even against the odds Rousseau orders the freelancer to engage the council patrol, and try to clear the route toward Orkney jumphole.
»The Outcome:
The outcome of the event, which would be directly reflected in the story, is not determined yet as the plan is to play it out on the server before writing the story on forums, so the actual outcome of the in-game event would be how the story continues. However, the only previously agreed part of the outcome is that no one's character suffers an InRp death or severe injury during the course of this event, except Jean Rousseau and his crew of 3, who will suffer from escape pod mechanism malfunction on the freighter if the freighter is destroyed, leading to the captain and the whole crew's death.

»Time & Date:
Proposed time for this event is Sunday, June 12 - 16:30 GMT, and that's when we're planning to get this up and running. However, if more than 2 participants have any objections (and we can find no one to replace them), the event will be moved to a more suitable time. So, if you're part of [C] and would like to take part in this event, but can't make it at this specific time, drop a message here stating when is more suitable for you.
»Additional Notes:
- Even though I am the one posting this thread, this event is nonetheless supported by [C] and thus, Faction Right 4 applies to this event. Which in short means only the registered players in this thread can take part in this event, so we would appreciate if there are no bystanders or uninvited participants present at the time of this event (As the whole event is going to be frapsed to be used for the story). - I will be choosing the freighter pilot myself, as whoever that's gonna fly that ship will need a more detailed description of the plot. But if you feel like flying an unarmored Aurochs against 3 Agamas or somesuch, feel free to drop me a PM and we'll see if it works out well. - As the thread title specifies, the Council side will be played by members of [C], so consider this a 'closed' event with no indies. However, if the leadership of [C] finds it suitable, certain council indies can join the event on invite, but that's rather unlikely so don't count on it. - To register for this event, post your exact charname and shiptype here, also stating if the event time is suitable for you or not.
