TARGET ID:LSF Operations Desk SUBJECT:Request for reconnaissance ENCRYPTION:High PRIORITY:Moderate
Evening Director, assuming you're reading this.
[color=#CCCCCC]Ensign Hartman here, Liberty Navy. Recently I've been looking into a particular Hacker that's been sticking her nose where it shouldn't be, name of Nicole Hunter. First picked her transponder up out in Naval training areas. Didn't get close enough to get much more than her ID. Unfortunately, she's displayed a right annoying ability to elude detection, or at the very least capture. Not much we could do about it until recently.
About a week ago one of my agents reported that she'd narrowed down jump co-ordinates used by that particular ship. Damn useful tech, just a shame it takes months to generate anything useful. Two primary jump points in Magellan, and a third in Galileo. Haven't had a chance to scout out the point in Galileo, but I've got an idea of what we're looking at in Magellan.
One of the holes looks to link to Cortez. It's hazy as all hell, Liberator's aren't exactly built for scanning those things, so you might want to get that info checked before you throw someone down there. Second one was mighty odd. DR pulses didn't match up with any known system. So, wherever that thing's going, it ain't on the official maps. Figured that sort of thing's right up your Agency's alley.
I've attached the basic scans I could pull up from Magellan-side. Essentially, if this Hunter's disappearing down this thing, it'd be damn helpful to know where she's going. If a couple of you folks could take a look, and let me know what you turn up, it'd be appreciated.
