819 A.S. - Violent protests erupt right in the heart of Gallia, the system Ile-de-France.

Less than a day ago, a veteran and respected member of the Gallic Royal Navy released a lenghty communique on all frequencies detailing his soon to be departure from the Kingdom of Gallia and the reasons.

Known as the Maréchal of the Royal Navy Leon Chevalier, Commandant of the Legion Tricolore and Protector of the lost Princess Alice DeFrance, his lenghty communique released fear and doubts among the population and even among the ranks of the Gallic Royal Navy itself. According to the Maréchal, the Royalty and many high ranked members of the Gallic Royal Navy and Gallic Nobility would be under the control of aliens known as Nomads.

This message follows an announcement made a month ago by the Royalty that the ex-Colonel Henri Lavalle, Commander of the Normandie Battlegroup defected to the Republic of Liberty and exchanged the Princess to the public enemy David Hale, Fleet Admiral of the Liberty Navy against the sum of one billion sirian credits and immunity inside the Republic. Questions were heard, but the people kept silent.

However, this time major protests broke out. Contrary to all expectations, the Royal Police has not been sent. Instead, the Royal Navy itself, along with Peacekeeper type mechs armed with lethal weaponry were dispatched. A firefight began a few minutes after their arrival, words being that the Royal Navy opened fire on the crowd first.

Along with these troubling events, rumors are spreading that several Commanders and Colonels of the Gallic Royal Navy simply cut all communications with the rest of the fleet.

This information was intercepted and modified on all Royalist controlled frequencies a few minutes after it's release, yet the original message was read by millions of Gallic citizens and military members before it was censored. It has been followed by a statement of a very new addition to the Royal Navy, the Maréchal Ansel Xavier including a message supposedly from the King himself, withdrawing the ex-Maréchal Chevalier from all his titles and possessions and now enemy of the Kingdom.
