Unfortunately, using these forums I saw that certain parts were for sale in the Liberty system of Virginia. I got to Virgina via Kansas, and then I was attacked by the Liberty Navy Guard. I escaped without firing on them, but unfortunately my relationship with them is in the red. On the forums, it doesn't state clearly that any that go there, including Liberty citizens in great standings with the major companies, police and navy are on shoot on sight status. There was also no warnings from the battlecruiser or other navy vessels to turn around and leave. I am a truly lawful player and this bad relationship with the Royal Navy Guard is a black cloud over my head. Is it possible an Angel or Admin can remedy this problem for me and if not, how can I improve my relationship with them. Please advise assist. Also, my suggestion is a warning on the forums (when you click Virginia to check out the system) that any and all ships (including those in good standings with liberty police, navy and major comanies will be attacked, likely killed and that their friendship status with the Royal Navy Guard will be ruined. Also perhaps you could work a warning of this sort into the game as well, a watch station around system like this that when docked on warn you of not entering the warp hole. Thank you and please advise/assist! Thank you ahead of time. My character's name is Stephen.Shuford if that is any help.
You know that Guards are "GUARDS" of that system and if you are not "their employee" they will shoot you , as in real life you are a police officer and yes you are lawful but can you go to some restricted military "guarded" base or territory freely ....ofc no.
I why are you mentioning Royal Navy Guard ...you where in Virginia and that's Liberty Navy "GUARD" system ....no one can go there and fly safe except Liberty Navy Guards ....same for Liberty Navy and Liberty Police rookies who don't got clearance to go there ....simple as that .

True, but there was nothing posted about this anywhere in game or from my research on the site. I was exploring and went to virginia. New at this game, I didn't expect trouble like that. Guards in real life have fences up, signs posted and give you the option to turn around in leave, so your logic isn't holding up.
Also, you never answered how I could get my friendship up again. Perhaps do missions for LPI? Liberty Navy itself is not listed as an ally, and I am still friendly with them, so I don't think doing their missions will help. Please advise.
Guard factions are like palace guards, they are hired to dislike everybody especially the so-called lawfuls who would poison the king's drink if left alone for a moment.
So, FYI, guard factions hate everybody, not you personally, they hate everybody.
If you want to have good reputation with them, you need to do a ton of missions with the regular faction. It will raise the reputation with the guard faction a little everytime you successfully complete one (about 1/3rd of a bar).
Also keep in mind, guard systems (like Virginia) are considered to be the guards own quarters. They dont like anybody who's not one of them snooping around. Even if you boost your rep with the NPC faction, other players of that faction can shoot you just for being there.
Sorry I didn't explain you about the rep like I should so in the future just a lil info ....you should use FLWiki if you didn't till now ofc coz you got 99% of info about the server features like factions ,equipment ,ships or any other thing you need to know about the game ,and good thing you used forum , but with Wiki is much more easy to find what you looking for .
Most of the core-vanilla or call it "old school freelancer" factions have Guards and Guarded Systems and for some factions ,like Navy Guards (or any other military or police faction in any of the houses) you need to work a lil harder to gain their friendly status by doing a lot of missions for their core faction ,in this case, Liberty Navy .....OK your example is Navy so you are in hostile rep with them, then you need to do about 10-15 (close number I hope) missions to be neutral with them and that's enough if you are using Virginia as a so called "pass point short cu ^^" for mining operation in Humboldt coz I you said your DSE ,but If you want to trade in Virginia for some reason I dont understand ( don't mind me ) then my suggestion will be take it on the forum and fist ask Liberty Navy and sign some kind of contract saying what are you trading and why ....They should probably accept it coz ,at least you are an employee of Liberty big corporation and you are also a member of an official DSE) crew like I see .....Then when you get the permission you can start reping the Navy Guard to green ....all in RP spirit ....right
And Yes for full Friendly Navy Guard you will need to do about 35-40+(depends how bad your rep was) missions total !
In the future you can use the repping guide made by Aerelm (still cant pronounce hes name right )
PS: I see your new so if you need help with anything else feel free to ask coz army finally gave me my holiday vacation and I have no life atm, just chilling and relaxing^^.
