I contact you et your organizations because of a proposition of further enhancing the cooperation and relations between The Gallic Council and the forces of Liberty. The Council High Command tasked me to propose you a trade of information in exchange for arms et military technology.

We are facing hard times with the Royal Navy knocking heavily on the doors of Bretonia. The Council wishes to further aid the Bretonian et Libertonian forces at keeping these doors shut for those royalists, but because of our small numbers, we have to rely on technology more. That is the reason we wish to ask for the aid of the Liberty Navy et the Liberty Security Forces in this matter.

But we ask nothing for free, of course we have something to offer in exchange. Et this would be information. The information The Council wishes to provide consits of more recent details about Gallic Royal Naval operations et movements within the Kingdom et the Tau systems. Maybe my previous words were not clear enough, let me fix that. The Council does not ask for a specific list of military hardware in exchange for the information, but an open arms deal between The Gallic Council et the Republic of Liberty. Our request is a mutual agreement to allow et ensure the free trade of military equipment between our group et your nation.

Et to answer the second question, the information what we offer consists of mostly routes of the Gallic Royal supply line between Gallia et the Bretonian front, along with several patrol routes protecting this line within the Tau systems. With this information the naval et special forces of Liberty will be able to cut the way of haulers where the supply line is the weakest. This information will allow your forces to cause great damage to the Gallic Royal Navy with most efficiency et least casualties within the Tau systems, would you decide to aid our efforts here as well.

After an extensive review of Council weapons technology, our researchers have determined that the electrical supply frequency or some-such fundamental problem causes the weapons to be less than useless in any practical situation. Unfortunately, simulations have indicated that this problem will also render any Liberty weapons essentially useless on Council ships.

This in mind, we hope engineers will eventually find a way to efficiently and effectively solve the problem, in which case the Liberty Navy would be more than happy to share weapons technology with those who fight the oppressive nature of the Gallic Navy.

Until then, your transports are welcome to trade within Liberty and we hope to hear more news of your efforts against the Gallic tyranny in the days, weeks and months ahead.

Thank you for your response. I have received word from our own technology division too that they have encountered similar issues with mismatching technology, et that they are trying to work out some improvements in order to fix this. Of course this takes time, so in case a breakthrough occurs at any of us, i would be glad to continue the proposed dealings.

Until then, we will of course continue commerce within Libertonian space to improve the economy et ensure the welfare of both of our nations. I would also like to thank you - I think in the name of all of us - the hospitality the Republic of Liberty grants the Gallic Council. Merci beacoup.
