Ok.
This is a question to all as well as admins and mods.
How much armor a core 1 base have ?
For how long it can survive when dozens of caps shoot at it for 3 hours ?
Dallas Base,
Day 1-10 Caps shoot at it for 1:30 hour, Result = No Effect.
Day 2-I don't know, Navy guys told me they shot at it, Result = No Effect.
Day 3-Same as Day 2, Result = No Effect.
Day 4-17 Caps shoot at the base for 1 hour then 10 caps shoot at it for half hour and then 7 caps shoot at the base for another half hour, Result = No Effect.

This is the maximum limit and firepower which can a core 1 base can hold but even tough after all this it didn't even lost it's shields nor it's hull.
Not even 1%.
So I want to ask every body that is this a glitch or seriously bases are that powerful ?

well..it definitely takes more than a few burst of fire for 15-30 mins as you described to take down a base who has 1 basic repair commodities[maybe repairs faster if have more,i think]
so..about 3-4hours of continue fire or more if you don't match the DPS with repair per second,try to calculate that next time,the datas are in base tutorials.
I just need to ask since you might not even checked health,are you sure it is even a core 1 base?

17 caps should definitely overload core1's base shield. It's either your mistake about core-ing or base bug...

Repair every 16 seconds = base level x number of types of repair commodities x 60,000

So a core 1 base with 3 types of repairs and a shield generator will repair 180,000 points of damage every 16 seconds. As the shield blocks 99% of damage, you will have to do 100 X the amount of damage it repairs, to beat it, so you will need to do 18 million points of damage every 16 seconds.

So you will need a CONSTANT DPS of 1.125 mill.

Note that this will only do 600 points of damage every 16 seconds, - thats the wear and tear damage, the attacking damage is only cancelling out the repair at the moment. Therefore it will take 59 hours to kill at this rate, you must do more damage to kill it faster.

Of course it depends on how many repairs and fuel they have on the base.

Someone planned ahead and put a whole lot of ships on that base. And I mean A LOT of ships.

It's gonna take a while to break.

Any more than 25 battleship cerbs' worth of damage output on the base and no amount of spare supplies will save the base from having its repair speed being out-damaged. That number shouldn't be hard for Liberty to pull off.

Bases are way too strong. Make them easier to dispose off pls. I shot at that base for a couple of hours too until the Liberty Navy ran me off, and it was the single most uneventful and dull experience I ever had in Disco.

Much better if base survivability was based on roleplay rather than mindless grind, I.e. make bases easier to kill so that it's survival hinges on those people willing to defend it. Base owners would then have to role play to make enough people care or hire goons or pay lawful authorities to protect it.

This is the most accurate answer you'll get. Keep in mind the numbers you need depend on what kind of caps you shoot the base with - battleships have a far higher potential dpe than cruisers. A heavy battleship with cerbs can do up to 120'000 damage per second continuously, 106'000 for a light battleship. A cruiser can do 40'000 at best, 57'000 if it's a battlecruiser.

Assuming the base you're attacking is supplied with all three repair commodities,
17 battleships should be more than enough to kill it. (1,80 - 2,04 million DPS)
17 cruisers will not be enough. (0.68 - 0.96 million DPS)
