I attempted a shift today, for approximately a half hour. I talked with a couple people, but things were very quiet so I familiarized myself with the Pennsylvania system. It has many random moon-like objects.
Did an hour and a half this afternoon. Pretty typical questions, where's this jumphole, what ship should i use, how do i increase mining yield, etc..

That last one was hard to answer as I was getting an IPS error from the forums and I couldn't access the guide by dusty that is on here.
Did a bit of work today, couple of issues that people wanted admins for, generally technical stuff.

Still not sure why I have to post here, but meh.

Gave out another mill or so, I'm way too generous.

Did some angeling on my GRN| character. We now have one more good and RPing capital ship owner in an Obstinate cruiser.
A splendid guy, hopefully he'll do well.

GRP - Triumphe we decided for his new name. If you see him, pat him on the back or give him some luxury food or something.:P
I wung (winged?) around a few days ago, New York mostly. Met some kind people, and even discussed some spiritual matters with an Oracle who was quite enthralled with my being for a time.

Let me tell you some about the people.

I first came upon this Crusty fellow. He seemed very friendly but needed some help with credits, so was asking people who passed by for spare change. I think he needed it to buy hearing aids, that's what some of the people he met suggested in any case.

Nolan came along, wondering about what was going on. After some amiable conversation, he too spared some credits for Crusty. Shortly after, Crusty had some trouble with his ship and had to fly home.

I idled back and forth a while, and eventually followed Nolan to Planet Manhattan. I think someone sent out a distress call, he must have been answering it.

Destrozador was flying around Manhattan and looked like he was causing a fair bit of havoc from where I was floating. Nolan tried to reason with the man for a while, but I think eventually he had to -- reluctantly, I think -- attempt a more agressive solution.

Marcus encouraged Nolan to deal with Destrozador quickly, threatening to help.

After a few minutes they were all tussling, and having quite a bit of fun I believe.

As I floated above the fair planet, more people congregated. Some to watch the scuffle, others just to socialise or relax.

The FCS Citizenship, a fine ship, mostly sat in moor. Her crew was quite busy, naturally, but little of that commotion shone through to the outside. The captain was likely observing the goings on around his ship while attending to his undoubtedly very important duties.

The FCS Citizenship was joined by two more relatively passive ships. One seemed to merely fly around with a curious attitude. The other -- a wise oracle -- struck up conversation with me, after identifying my presence. We spoke of ends, and he mentioned his work to prevent an end. Nothing specific, but we understood each other.

Destrozador had in the meantime incured the wrath of more people with guns. From what I could hear, he had shot at Dr. Spikly and the Navy had come to help.

Not all of the Navy pilots were helping, however. One began exchanging experimentative weapons fire with Dr. Spikly. They seemed to confirm many important hypotheses in short time.

The Navy was still, however, trying quite hard to make Destrozador go away.

Dr. Spikly went to the planet for a drink and to continue his research. When he launched again he had -- built himself, perhaps -- a new ship.

Universal Shipping seemed to be preparing a picnic, despite all that was happening. They had several large ships, and at least an escort. It is good to see such unwavering devotion to ones occupation.

A research drone -- by the name of Baxter, or perhaps from Baxter, or maybe of the Baxter type -- arrived and began communicating with ships in its vicinity. It appeared to be trying to find someone, but I don't think it did.

Dr. Spikly -- in his new ship and quite intoxicated state -- must have tried to smell the drone, or perhaps they were old friends. In any case, they soon resolved whatever issues they had and began conversing, each in his (or its) own way.

Meanwhile, John Icemount came, saw, and left -- after being told to do so, I believe.

The authorities were still finding Destrozador more difficult.

I hope to meet these and more people again, since even though I did not end up helping many of them I still enjoyed my time with them.
Shift: 01:00 - 02:00 I think

I've been on vacation all summer. Put in a shift today. Let me see. Gave 3 million to a nice fellow, debated the value of nova torps with a guy in Kusari--love them long range comms, and gave out a nice intermediate trade route. Here it is:

Planet Pittsburgh -> LD-14 (Leeds): boron
Planet Leeds -> Southampton Shipyard (New London) ship hull panels
Kensington Shipping Platform (New London) -> Battleship Hood (Dublin): mining machinery
Battleship Hood -> Fort Bush: gold
Fort Bush -> Planet Pittsburgh: consumer goods

If you have any questions, fell free to shoot me or any Angel a PM. We'll try our best to make ya happy.

Helped out a pilot called Freya, she was dissapointed by the amount of people who refused to help her learn about trading, so I gave her 2 million for a Camara and gave her a trade route, hopefully she'll be ok.

A new LPI needed some help aswell, so gave him some money for a bribe.

Met a few others, and gave some tips on how to land a barge.

Life as usual eh?

Shift: 02:00 - 04:20

A good shift in Pennsylvania. Met some awesome pilots including: BlueBlade, LR-Big.Sexy.Beast, Abox, abrius, [*USI*]J.Adams[JC], and Perica.

Fixed the old tractor beam/ID problem, guided a new trader to Ames Research for a generic trader ID, mining instruction, gave directions to the Inverness System, talked to a pilot about teamspeak and skype, explained the concept of roleplay to a non-English speaker--it was challenging but we succeeded, and gave out money for a brand spanking new Rhino. I almost had to call Planet Erie medical since Captain J.Adams was complaining of chest pains. He assured me he was ok. I was ready to perform a miracle if needed.

Peace and love to all,

Angel Sass
I did a shift today, and finally started writing it up in the message dump seeing people think I'm inactive.
Did one from 12:30 to 14:30 today, mostly hanging out in New York, aside from a long trip with a trader in a Camara to Omicron Gamma and back.
Met a few nice people, answered some questions, and taught the guy how to RP a transport captain better, helped him pick out a different name from the ship.

A good day it was.
