Captains Log, Subject: The Dream Again

Another sleepless night, These dreams are robbing me of my rest. My training in the Order prepared me to deal with these Nomad dreams and not to be fooled or deceived. I just don't think i can take this for much longer. I have tried everything, sleeping concoctions my Medical Officer prescribed, even had my body checked for any signs of infection and i'm clean. The medic calls it PTSD. I never said what my dreams where about, the last thing I need are rumors that i'm unfit for command. I have been grooming my Executive Officer Lilly Shield and i'm confident she can replace me if anything should happen. Perhaps i should speak to Jeremy about this, or Raven. I'm starting to think i need to be more cautious with who i tell things to. I'll get though this... I have to.

Captains Log, Subject: An uncommon Interaction in Kepler

I have been patrolling the Boarder words more frequently in order to possibly stop incoming Nomads and criminals from entering i had an unusual encounter around Ames. A Kusarian State Police Officer was hanging around as i tried to say something to him he took the lane back to Kusari. [KSP]KDS-Nihon Then came back to have a chat when he noticed i was trying to speak to him i obviously asked him why he was here and he mentioned a Rheinlander was in Shikoku. In my mind if he was chasing someone i was already not going to cause an issue there was really no need. But we then saw the Rheinlander again named ISH}_profit_margins it was a Gun Boat. The Kusarian agreed to escort him back through Kusari. Anyways the subject of Gallia was brought up when i asked him how Kyushu held up against the Nomadic Invasion it suffered. He then spoke of Kusari being in Diplomatic Relations with each other. I find that very concerning. Ill just have to watch Northern Liberty more closely from now on.

Captains Log, Subject: Situational Report

Command has been Notified of the current location of the Amenhotep. With her stationed out guarding entry ways into California, we must be ready for the next level of advancement from the Gauls. We must keep out eye on the ever growing issue on the Nomad front as well, we must always watch our backs and never rest. My men are stretched thin as it is. Seems a task force should be set up in order to combat these constant threats.

In time i do hope one day we can have peace, but to have peace we must fight for it.

Captains Log, Subject: Anomaly, Transmission.

We slowly make our way through the Cortez Ice field. Something was really strange on the scanners and my XO could not understand it. We did a more in depth scan and nothing turned up. Even Let lose out Electro Magnetic Pulse to see if there were any cloaked ships nearby. Either it had no effect or it was to far out of range. Either way I'll have a squad frequent these Ice Fields more often just to be on the safe side.

A communique was sent out to Bretonian Armed Forces informing them of my arrival to Bretonian space in the hopes of aiding them on the Nomad Assault. I wonder if they will turn me away. If so i don't want to hear all over the Comm Arrays on how they wished they had more help. To much pride can get you killed, especially dealing with Nomads.

Captains Log, Subject: Reinforcements for California.

California is under direct threat from the Gauls and taking it upon myself to inspect Battleship Alma and her Fleet showed great strength. I am still concerned that more reinforcments are needed and I have just sent out comminications to the appropriate people to see what we can do about the situation.

I do know one thing for sure. The Republic of Liberty and her citizens will be protected. At all costs.

Captains Log, Subject: Invitation, Choices to make.

While patrolling the Cortez system a familiar signature came across my scanners. It was the Auxesian Osiris known as the Andraste and her Commander, Keeper Leviathan. It has been sometime and I wanted to catch up with him but it seems he wanted me to attend a meeting with the Freeport Administrator Nodoka. I was quite at shock because I was unsure about why he wanted me to attend. Once Nodoka made contact with us in the Cortez system we then moved to Inverness for security and privacy. After learning the meeting would take place on the Andraste I was a little nervous due to the fact that I never feel as safe when leaving my ship. My Executive Officer Lilly is a well seasoned leader so I put my feelings aside and boarded the Andraste upon Leviathans request.

We made formal introductions, those attending this meeting would be Keeper Leviathan, Freeport Administrator Nodoka, Honya, and myself Commodore Jonathan.

We sat at a nice table with food and other provisions provided and was by all accounts very comforting, I strategically placed myself in view of my Osiris as I have grown very fond of her. We first discussed events in Delta as the growing Nomadic attacks on Freeport 11 have increased at an alarming rate. It seems from Nodokas accounts that its not just the Nomads but, LSF and some LNS ship are also causing issues. However the most unlikely antagonist in all this is The Order. Leviathan informs me that they worked together with Nomads and attacked Freeport 11 and even damaged one or so parts of the station. I was very surprised and angry at the same time that such a thing in the Order would even be allowed. Especially after the Order came to the Freeport 11's aid when the Core crisis happened. We slightly changed topics to the Core and spoke about this new position and the one in it named "Head Guildkeeper Nathan Archos". Now I have never heard of a Head Guildkeeper but from what Leviathan commented on was spot on he said "A title that doesn't exist, unless they've deteriorated so badly that they're all grasping for straws of power." Now if that is truly the case then instability within Omicron Rho can be taken advantage of. However Leviathan and Nodoka had other plans that even i cant disagree with. With The Order causing so much trouble and instability withing the region they believe its time for new leadership be implemented and rebuild the Order. However doing that is going to be hard as Auxesians don't have a force big enough to directly engage The Order. Leviathan suggests doing a fly by and destroy critical defense components and then leave them to the mercy of the Core. I never thought I would see the day in which i would want to be apart of the force that takes down The Order and it seems Leviathan and after a few moments even Nodoka and Honya agreed if the plan was successful that I would lead the Order and rebuild with the help of Auxesia. But it is not so simple.

Leviathan has learned that I have been taken as a joke in the eyes of the Liberty Government and also knows of my unhappiness serving a cause that no longer wants to serve me. I have presented many cases of Nomadic incursion points and strategies to prevent more loss of life but the Republic down plays my claims and rather focus on other matters. With the Gauls encroaching in California I don't see it even possible for me to attain permission to leave Liberty and head back to the Omicrons and deal with its instability and faults that are causing more and more Nomads to be seen in more of space. Leviathan seemed to have a plan to secure my release from the Liberty Navy and that was to entice them with NEMP bombs as a sufficient payment in losing the Amenhotep. Now I never asked this of Leviathan he just outright said he would use Auxesias own supply to try and get me released. It seems I have underestimated a crucial ally to me and my ship. I wonder at what cost will this bring me if i do accept this offer and leave Liberty. I wouldn't fly the Auxeisan colors but I'm sure my help with future operations will be mandatory and in all honesty i would not say no.

I have a lot to think about in the coming days as I have not informed Liberty of my actions and whereabouts at the present time. For now I will Orbit Planet Forres in the Inverness system, Leviathan seemed pleased after he granted me that request. The only thing i would have to worry about is the Legion but with all that is going on in Liberty and me ordering my crew to power down most of the Amenhoteps systems I doubt I would even be noticed.

It seems with my newfound temporary home I will have time to focus on something very important to me. Keeper Leviathan informs me that Jeremy Hunter is dead. Now I am very fond of Hunter so I will conduct my own research with this matter and it seems I finally will have some quiet time to do so.

Captains Log, Subject: Command Confirmed.

I have come to a conclusion that for the sake of Humanity and well, my personal feelings on the matter that I will separate from the Liberty Navy. No one from Liberty suspects anything "yet" but I have spent almost 4 days orbiting Planet Forres with no contact from the Liberty Navy at all, and this is a good thing. They must be to busy with the Gauls to be worrying about the lone Commodore who believes the Nomads pose a bigger threat than anyone has ever realized. This title i have, "commodore" means nothing anymore, and I am dropping it like a bag of bricks.

I hope this plan works, for my sake and that of the Human Race.

Captains Log, Subject: Jump Drive/Meeting within the Andraste

The Amenhotep is being outfitted with a Jump Drive capable of bringing the Osiris virtually anywhere in Sirius. The Down side is the proccess is going to render us powerless for 48 hours. I have dispatched a few squadrons from the Amenhotep to run defensive operations and left Lilly in charge of that.

I attended a meeting on the Andraste with Leviathan, Nodoka, Honya, and a Geb Captain named Vex.

Clearly i could tell Vex did not like me as her subtle remarks and facial expression seem to portray it. We even got into a little squabble as she was so indulged to speak on The Amenhotep and she thinks I stole what was already mine. Foolish really.

We spoke about our planned rebellion and how I would fit in all this. Vex would lure the Amenhotep out of Liberty by a seemingly convincing fire fight. Explosions would be used near asteroids and I would jump out of Liberty with the jump Drive that was installed by Wight. While the plan is not in full motion I am assuming, I will take all repairs, services I can in Liberty. Something tells me after this is done I will need to be very careful of where I take my Osiris and how she is used.

Captains Log, Subject: Complete Service on Juneau Shipyard

I have scheduled a full service on the Amenhotep, the sooner I do this the better, I used the cover of the Gallic and now Nomadic front as a perfect excuse for one. No reason for any suspicion to be considered. At the moment, I am serving Liberty, and no reason to think otherwise.

With the Amenhotep's full service completed we headed back to Inverness to lay low. Oddly enough we choose a place not far from the last sighting of the Atum in the Avlemore Nebula. Scanners should not reach this far and we once again turned off non vital systems to hide our trace, that combined with this Nebula should be more than sufficient.

On a side note, Admiral Sader tried to keep the Amenhotep restricted to Alaska and I was not about to let that happen. He sighted officials might try and seize my ship but that is highly improbable as I retain one of the most strongest warship in the Naval Forces. Not sure what Sader is suspecting as how nothing has been reveled to him and this was so sudden. Lets hope he does not notice the Osiris not in Alaska. Its a pretty big system.
