Captain's Log: Weapons Research

I have spent many of months only keeping these designs to myself and never have I attempted to record them officially until now. It was imperative to keep this as secret as possible due to the importance of this project. The Amenhotep needed a boost In its offensive power and with the IRG power cell I was able to make this dream a reality. The Power cell is only ment to aid the Osiris Power Core in powering the weapons, as these new prototypes call for more energy they also deal a lot more damage in more ways than one.

I came across Kinetic Turrets that where used back in the Sol Era and while their shield damage capabilities are not up to par with todays standards they prove extremely effective against hull plating. It was at this point in time I used Outpost Ozymandius, our Sanctuary and Base of operations to create two of these devastating weapons. One would think Nomadic Shells are not prone to weakness against these old style era weapons they in fact make incredible holes in the Nomad Marduk and Ish'Tar class vessels. These weapons are highly dangerous for my crew to load and reload its ammunition and It causes extra weight in having ammo stored on the Amenhotep but the damage output is so High I have chosen to take that risk.

With Weapons that cant do major shield damage comes these two new designs I have came across in my time roaming the Sirius sector looking for Nomads. The Battleship Auto Pulse weapons prove to be one of the most superior shield disintegrators I have ever come across in my life. The Down side to these weapons are as follows, Virtually no hull damage can be done, and the only mountable location suitable for these weapons are Primary Slots designated to my Liberty Battleship Primaries. The loss of these primaries will be noticeable but the capabilities of downing shields quicker will allow the Kinetic Turrets to do their job. Low energy and efficient they will not be hooked up to the IRG Power Cell as the weapons do not draw much power to fire.

With the loss of a few Liberty Primary weapons I noted that we need to increase the damage out put of the rest of our primaries, however with the current state of the weapons now, any increase will cause them to over heat and explode. So I came across Battleship Sledge turrets that have a shorter range but a higher out put in damage. The issue I have come across is the power, and we had no choice but to add the IRG Power cell to help our core fire them. High Damage and Energy always poses a threat to other main components in any vessel and the Osiris is no exception. So With this Power cell doing most of the heavy lifting it puts us in a good position and keeps us versatile.

Next in the long line of weapons research comes the Thumper Turret. This high velocity, high refire and high energy consuming weapon is designed to take on smaller capital vessels with enough spread to account for dodging. These weapons have no known origin and I came across one of these during my time in the Omicrons. With ample time and opportunity within the Insurgency I have been able to design three more to complete a set of four. Only time will tell how effective this will be against our enemies.

Lastly we have EMP Flak Turrets that specialize in de-shielding Fighters while retaining the ability to deflect incoming projectiles. It is a fairly straight forward prototype that my engineers was able to cook up for the Osiris. Only time will tell if these turrets prove useful or a waste of time.

We will have to be extremally careful when in combat as to not damage these prototypes to much due to their expensive and limited materiels. I doubt I will be able to produce more.

Captain's Log: New London

Such destruction, no mercy at all was given when the Royal Navy swept in and destroyed Southampton. My dreams have showed me a world where humans are just as bad as the Nomads themselves and... and I cant allow this to continue on. I cant sit here and show bias in my Journey. If The Nomads must perish for their destruction, so must everyone else who chooses to partake in such action. The Gallics have been on my back burner for to long. They will fall. My only hope is that the Bretonians in their hyper vigilant state wont confuse me for an enemy.

Captain's Log: A call for help

Harmony has reached out to me and asked for help concerning a Prison located near Zone 21. Considering its in the heart of Liberty I could understand why such help would be needed. Separatists could be held there and that station could be used for infecting the prisoners. Now this base will probably be heavily guarded so we will have to take a more stealth approach and try to blitz their defense grid, rescue the prisoners then blow the station to hell. I will personally oversee the prisoners and ensure they are not infected before releasing them. As for the actual criminals that are rescued I will leave that decision to Harmony.

Captain's Log: Reactive Armor

With the Amenhotep finishing up most of its repairs there was one final piece to completely send her off back into space wreaking havoc across all those that disturbed the balance Asmodeus is so dedicated to protect. Asmodeus anticipated that the Amenhotep will get back into combat and relatively quickly due to various threats like the Nomads, The Republic of Liberty and other criminal elements that come in our way. So with the help of Livadia Shipyard & personnel, reactive armor plating was successfully installed and it was a moral booster for the crew members aboard the nostalgic ship. However this new armor is not perfect and its projected to last only one month of combat. So the Amenhotep will have to make regular stops back at Livadia to maintain the armor.

Captain's Log: Pacifica NEMP

The Amenhotep was asked by Auxesia to partake in a strike against the Unioners and I gladly accepted. The Unioners have been a huge thorn in my side and their disruption of my operations against Liberty and various attacks and diplomatic disasters with Harmony have made me dislike them even more. The Amenhotep will start its blockade of Pacifica in an attempt to stop repair materials from making its way to Pacifica.

Captain's Log: Weapons Research Part 2

After collaboration with Lividia Shipyard technicians and the Amenhotep weapons research team a new prototype code name Thumper has been created. This is the first iteration of prototype weapons to be field tested on the Amenhotep, with shorter range, higher refire rate and slightly reduced damage. The Amenhotep will be better equipped to deal with faster moving capital ships such as cruisers and battle cruisers. There will be three phases to this research with the final phase to modify the thumpers to cater The Amenhotep's strengths.

Captain's Log: Synth Foods and Pygar

After visiting Omicron Theta I was Orbiting Pygar and a Synth Foods transport was approaching. The captain was kind and has a very loose tongue and informed me that the Corsairs are planning to destroy their base. What I dont seem to understand is why the Corsairs are trying to interrupt a migration process. Should the planet thrive it will have a positive effect for the Corsairs and that does not seem smart. I have had not so many good run ins with The Corsairs and should the Corsairs make a move against this base I cannot stand by and Let innocent Zoners perish.

Captain's Log: Liberty Rogues

The Liberty Rogues have gone to far this time and I cannot let them walk all over us any longer. The Rogues attacked the Amenhotep near Pacifica while we where fighting the Unioners and one Queen Viper fell hard for her actions. They Revoked my access after they themselves attacked me first, so I will cleanse this corruption and get the Rogues back on the right path. Sometimes blood must be spilled and we are willing to make them bleed.

Captain's Log: Taking the fight to Liberty Navy, The Xeno Alliance aids the Amenhotep

Its been sometime since I have felt the need to make a report of the days events. The Liberty Navy saw fit to divert some forces from the Gallic war to the Amenhotep and the Xeno Alliance ships that was escorting me. Their Battlegroup consisted of one Interdicter Battlecruiser, two Archer class cruiser, Defiant class gunboat, a Hired Repair ship and various Guardians/Avengers. While the fight was long and hard fought, we were victorious and I am pleased to say only the Gunboat survived and we sadly lost one Xeno but his escape pod was recovered. The Liberty Navy seems to be getting more cocky since the Betheny was destroyed after it took three Battlegroups to finally bring it down. Not something I would call a real achievement in my book, I would much rather have the odds stacked against me and still come out on top. We will orbit Ouray for now, Those who follow the corrupted path will perish, today has been a good day.

Captain's Log: Fort Sempiternal

Doctor James Erzie of the IRG has called an emergency beacon and requested my presence in Pennsylvania. A modular base has been located within the No Fire Zone of Bethlehem without any approval of the IRG. We will aid the good doctor in razing this base to the ground. Time for the Amenhotep to be seige ready, Eight Hours.
