EDINBURGH - Seeking to profit from the unfolding political chaos in Bretonia, the cowardly Gallic nation has launched even more raids into Bretonian territory. This week alone, the Armed Forces representative said, four patrols coming from the Gallic-controlled Orkney system have been succesfully routed by the brave Bretonian pilots.

Despite the promises made by the new Gaul leadership, it is evident that, sooner or later, they will launch yet another onslaught against the people of Sirius. For this, the Armed Forces have already begun preparations on a scale never-before-seen in Bretonia. Every citizen must assist them - for they represent the stalwart defense against all threats.

Whilst the garrison on Perth is recovering from the recent battles, large-scale vessel movements have been detected near Planet Waterford and beyond Planet Harris, in Tau-31. Our reporter stationed on Harris has stated that no resistence is expected in case of an armed intervention. Sources from New London have confirmed that this represents a new offensive by the military to contain the Gallic units in the northern regions of the Orkney system.

Rumours are abound concerning the state of the Gallic forces - however officials have mentioned that Bretonia's military is well-equipped for any future skirmishes. No information is available about the exact fleet stationed in Orkney, however our correspondents will attempt to gain more details about the gaul fleet in the upcoming week.

The goverment has not made any clarification regarding this newest action by the military, although no public messages are expected due to the unstable situation in the Tau sector. This move has been widely criticized by the leader of the National Party, Sir Thomas Cunningham, as well as other important figures in Bretonia.

We will present more details about the unfolding operation in the following days.
