This _Unit discusses the points listed in the transmission below as a member of the sieging parties rather than as a _Consensus representative (facts as to this nature can be discussed at the TAZ conference). This _Unit “hopes” that this transmission will draw the focus of the negotiations to a number of pre-stated points, so they can be discussed with greater cohesion. It deliberately leaves this transmission open so Sirius can interpret its contents as it will.

As _Di’taraUnit, it has witnessed nearly three days of the siege, the incessant determination of the peacekeeping fleets and that of the defenders. From its knowledge of the present situational conditions, it conveys the following points:

1) The Zoner Alliance is in a state of acute alarm at their current diplomatic state, yet, at the same time, there is no direct attempt (as of yet) to negotiate a workable ceasefire that would appease all parties in parity; the _Consensus, _Order, _Solar Runners, _Shades of Sol, _Phoenix and other assorted combatants who have expended an exponential amount of “manpower” into this universal, binding project.

2) The Alliance fleets exist in fragments. All cohesive attempts to attack as one unified fleet failed over a week previous to this transmission, largely due to the “efforts” of the _Consensus fleet (and, in later engagements, Solar runner aquillons) originally deployed in Omicron 74, a success the _ZA acknowledges through their aggressive utilisation of linguistics in open neural net transmissions.

3) The intensity of this second conflict is exponentially escalating. What originally began as a trans-border trade-rights dispute between the _Consensus _ZA – with _ZA destroying on sight _Consensus logistical vessels – has now escalated into a trans-Sirian war.

4) Past encounters have proven that both the _Order, _Consensus, and _Solar possess “ships” of a sufficient quality and sufficient training regimen to counteract the entire _ZA fleet individually (and have, on multiple occurrences). This is not in doubt.

5) This conflict has severely alienated the Alliance in the eyes of the Sirius sector. The Alliance is currently attempting extended negotiations regardless, judging by the product of open neural net channels.

6) _ZA is “intimidated” by the _Order intervention.

7) _ZA is “determined” to fight to the end, and has adopted siege positioning accordingly.

8) The _ZA defence stations, once protested about by the _Consensus several months previously, have been put into the very purpose the _Consensus anticipated: systemic system lockdown.

9) The _ZA has gained affiliated and unaffiliated hirelings in other Omicron groups, and appears to be manipulating them against the fleet in an attempt to manufacture evidence as a diplomatic bargaining chip. The fleet is entirely aware of this.

10) The _Consensus participates in the siege mostly through the defence of Omicron Kappa and denying Kappa-obtained supplies to the _ZA.

11) The primary damage to the station and bulk of the Omicron 74 force is being delivered by the _Order, _Pheonix and _Solar Runner groups, to which this _Unit is highly “thankful”.

12) _ZA “have” docked at _Gammu before in an attempt to resupply their stations with water.

13) _ZA is attempting to supply the station with untagged whales and transport craft, to a number of successes.

14) The siege is scheduled to continue until the base’s nullification, at which point the secondary defensive installation will be targeted before moving on to the _ZA command structure.

15) All parties aim for a way of avoiding any form of repeat occurrence, neither side is prepared to offer the other favourable terms.

The “righteous” will out, the responsible tried. None of "our" exertions will waste.

This _Unit also aims to certify that it was engaged by pro-ZA _Consesian renegades. This _Unit recommends that none-Consensian AI vessels are queried as to their motivations when approaching the vicnity of the siege zone.
