In the frozen asteroid fields of Magellan, a seemingly abandoned gunship slowly hums to life, its lights flickering and its engines misfiring a few times. A small disc pushes away from the hull of the vessel, and like a parascope, scans the surrounding area, before dropping back against the ship.
The vessel aligns itself with the systems plane of flight, and begins to slowly move.
There's no pilot however, and no signs of life on it.
More of its systems come to life as its reactor starts to charge the nearly drained powercells, and soon the extensively modified, and highly sophisticated mainframe and network of computers inside of its frame come to life. A Lane Hacker transponder is displayed to any vessel that eventually encounters it, the gunship dubbed the 'Logic Bomb'.
