To Special Operations Command operatives currently onboard battleship Atum.

This evening, Sirius mean time, one of our operatives performed recon duty towards your new objective - located in Kansas system. Unfortunately with sudden deployment of entire Navy battlegroup, our plans will be delayed but not cancelled. We see it fit to issue briefing with disclosed to you information beforehand.

Once our entry point will be secured, you will be going in modified strike craft. Those ships will be modified to carry more fuel, armor and improved life support on expense of some firepower. You are to expect radiation, Nomad artifacts of unknown purpose and minimal to non hostile activity. A device of alien origin, named Knossos is center to our mission and you are going straight for it.

A lot of details are currently either classified or need to know basis but you will be given data concerning previous recon sorties into the area and more specific objectives once you are commited. Command made it clear to not disclose too much information until operation is a go but you will be granted sufficient time to asses new intel as it goes.

Until then you are to take a rest, however alcohol is prohibited - we will need you in best shape as soon as that Liberty battlegroup ceases to be a factor.
