Mittermeier leaned in the chair towards Jacobs, smiling politely, with eyes looking reasonably and respectively.
"Yes Mr. Jacobs, we're ready to enter that project. It's logical next step on our path of cooperation, and will bring profits to all involved parties. Strengthening ties and meeting new partners is even more interesting part of what you just proposed me."
Mittermeier showed bigger than before the moment, more friendly smile.
"I will be happy to bring news we made the initial agreement to Daumann Board of Directors.''
Geez, we caught God's legs with that Interspace deal. Not gonna sink together with those morons from the federal goverment. - he thought.
Jacob nods slightly in agreement, reaching down to his briefcase and pulls out a small pamphlet of forms, sliding it over the desk to his new business partner.
"Included is a little more information on the project, as well as some precautions we may need to take throughout our business agreements, as.. Well.. The houses are being rather silly with their decisions. Although I don't expect too many issues, i'm quite sure we can play this out well enough.
I appreciate you coming all the way up to New London to have this meeting. Please get in contact with me, as soon as you speak with the rest of the Board of Directors. From that point forward, i'll forward the necessary information to the Deep Space Engineering, and we can get started. "
"There is no reason the rest of our Board wouldn't accept our agreements, after all there is a reason I'm here" - Mittermeier said, smiling to Wells and shaking his hans - "it's logical to continue our cooperation with Interspace, Daumann executives are people of long-term planning and sound judgement. I am sure in cooperation we can change the balance of power in Sirius. Rheinland corporation and Libertonian ones, doing business together, without any prejudices which limit other companies. And additionally, if one of Daumann projects which is about to start succeeds, we will be able to provide major geopolitical change as a gift for Liberty and its corporations... I can't say much more now."
The sun behind the window was raising, and both standing men could notice how beatiful New London landscape is, without many skiffs and ships populating skies at the early morning. Although a bit lower and smaller, skyscrapers, foundries, and generally very dense city structure reminded Manhattan.
The rising sun shed light on hands of both directors, shaking in a gesture.
