This is Colonel Voss of the 27th Colonial Assault Fleet.
I am reporting a rogue Council Redemption, the CLN-Bretagne, to you. It's commanding officer appeared to be out of his mind, claiming the Freeport as his own, endangering civilians, shooting tradelanes and when told to stop, saying there was nothing anybody could do. He was also speaking a large amount of indecipherable nonsense. We in the 27th decided he was a danger to those around him and asked him to leave. He did not comply, spouting more nonsense. It was decided that he had to be removed by force. We did not enjoy putting him out of action. Attached are the guncams of my Nyx, showing the combat and the rogue Council's inevitable defeat.

Colonel Voss, your allegations are most serious, and the visual logs you've provided do in fact show a combat engagement that seems to have gone poorly for the Council vessel involved.
However, I hope you'll understand but I need more than your word and some pictures to prove that the encounter in fact played out the way you claim. All that I can see with the "evidence" that you've provided, is an organization in neutral standing with the Republic of Liberty (your Colonial Forces), attacking a ship belonging to a group that is in fact in good standing with The Republic of Liberty, the Council.
There is no evidence that the Council ship was making the claims you mention, and there is no evidence that it was the Council ship who in fact initiated the attack.
Were I to simply take your word, and act upon it, I would not be a very good Naval Officer. If there is further evidence that could support your claims, if any of the other Colonial pilots can corroborate your story with concrete evidence, that would aid you greatly in convincing me to issue orders to my personnel regarding the Council vessel in question.
As of right now, I will be taking no action against the Council or their ships, and I would remind you and your Colonial forces that there is in fact a No Fire Zone around Freeport Four, that extends for 10k around the facility.

This is Colonel Voss.
Good day, Baker. I completely understand your need for more evidence, as well as wishing to maintain that no fire zone you speak of. However, and I'm sure you can understand this, we did not expect to have to activate our guncams when it came to a Council vessel. Those images are all we have. However, I'm sure you're aware that the Colonies certainly do not want to anger one of their closest friends in this war of ours, the Council. While you might not be able to take just my word for it, and while we did not manage to grab guncams of this vessel.. "misbehaving," as it were, consider the impact it would have on the Colonies if we were to just go around blowing down allies that we decide don't look good enough in their ships. That is not something we do, ever. Now, again, all I have is my word, unfortunately, but the reason we had to fire on that ship in the first place is due to him violating that very same no fire zone for no good reason, as stated earlier. And when one of them does that, and refuses to leave when told.. Well, those guncams are the result.
My apologies for not being able to provide more evidence, or much more than my word. If this happens again we will be sure to be ready to capture any images or evidence we need to prove our innocence to you.

It is as I said in my last transmission, your word and the visual evidence provided is simply not enough to spur the Navy into action against the Council.
We have had no other reports from any other sources of incidents with the Council, or The Bretagne specifically.
Furthermore, the Libertonian Armed Forces have worked with the Bretagne in the past, without incident, so I simply must deny your request for action.
There is simply insufficient evidence to support your claim..

Baker, I've been forwarded logs of the Council vessel's actions leading up to the incident that played out in my guncams in the original communication. We recieved these from a DSE ship, the Triumph, piloted by a man named Robert Triumph. He must have been passing by or watching as the situation unfolded. I'm uploading the logs to you now.
[26.11.2013 10:53:49] Commune.Prophet: I wouldn't be so sure.
[26.11.2013 10:54:01] 27th|CV-Tartarus: Baxter: Hello again, everyone.
[26.11.2013 10:54:03] Commune.Voice: Deep Space vessel, would you be so kind to fetch a Naval officer?
[26.11.2013 10:54:06] 27th|Felix.Edwards: *laughs*
[26.11.2013 10:54:11] ZFS-Cibalea: John: greetings Baxter
[26.11.2013 10:54:20] CLN-Bretagne: this i want to see
[26.11.2013 10:54:33] 27th|Felix.Edwards: I had respect for the Council too...
[26.11.2013 10:54:50] 27th|Felix.Edwards: Looks like hes an odd one high on Cardamine.
[26.11.2013 10:55:37] CLN-Bretagne: you are no match for this ship
[26.11.2013 10:55:40] 27th|CV-Tartarus: Baxter: So uh, what's going on here?
Here the DSE ship passed by and went on, however he returned a short while later, and as such there is a seven or so minute gap in the logs.
[26.11.2013 11:02:07] CLN-Bretagne: my base
[26.11.2013 11:02:10] 27th|CV-Tartarus: Baxter: You're only going to be asked once.
[26.11.2013 11:02:50] CLN-Bretagne: nope
[26.11.2013 11:03:06] 27th|CV-Tartarus: Baxter: Leave the area. Now.
[26.11.2013 11:03:17] 27th|CV-Tartarus: Baxter: This is your final chance.
[26.11.2013 11:03:23] CLN-Bretagne: im waitin to attack
[26.11.2013 11:03:31] CLN-Bretagne: your wasting time
[26.11.2013 11:04:01] 27th|CV-Tartarus: Baxter: *Sigh* I didn't want it to come to this.
(Whisper)[26.11.2013 11:04:16] DSE)Triumph: All hell is breaking lose between 27th and CLN in Magellen
[26.11.2013 11:04:17] 27th|CV-Tartarus: Baxter: All units, you'e free to engage.
(Whisper)[26.11.2013 11:04:56] LNS-Independence: the liberty navy and police are incoming
[26.11.2013 11:05:17] Commune.Prophet: Now, this pleases us.
[26.11.2013 11:05:23] Commune.Voice: Very much so.
[26.11.2013 11:06:25] 27th|Eight.Of.Spades: Moving in to assist the 27th.
[26.11.2013 11:07:07] Commune.Prophet: You see, commander. It's better to be clever than stupid.
[26.11.2013 11:07:14] 27th|Eight.Of.Spades: *laughs*
[26.11.2013 11:07:38] 27th|CV-Tartarus: Baxter: I didn't want to do that... *Sigh*
[26.11.2013 11:07:42] Death: CLN-Bretagne was killed by 27th|CV-Tartarus (Gun)
The LNS Independence appears to have been in talks with the DSE pilot while this unfolded. He seems to think Liberty forces were en route, but none showed up in time, as I recall.
In any case I am not requesting any extreme actions to be taken, I would simply advise you to watch out for any similar Council ships behaving strangely. We are not sure what caused him to act so oddly.
