Has anyone just... you know... decompiled/reverse engineered the game and be done with it?
Whats the problem with it for the reasons of player development? The game got rushed, some features didnt get added. They cut the main servers, obviously they are abandoning this game. It's not like our intentions would be to sell it as our own.
If the company really wants it bad enough to start a fit, hell, they can keep the upgrades ect (though giving the people credit would be nice)
I would like to add that the game "Allegiance" was kinda screwed up too, the players got the source, they fixed it, its a really nice game now. www.freeallegiance.org is a prime example of the benifits of having the source. Heck... MS might consider taking back ownership of allegiance if it gets popular enough...
