Codename weapons are all class ten and can be found on certain wreaks of bought via player dealers. (Be ready to pay a pretty penny if you want to buy them)

Colada del Cids as well, if you're friendly with Corsairs, are class 10 shield busters.

or class 10 paralyzer shield buster missiles, or purple goddess chainguns as well, those are class 10 guns. though, you are better off with codenames, oand there are quite a few good class 9 guns as well for purchase, just a matter of what your RP is, and where you look.

Sidewinder missiles as well.

Often class 9 weps are just as good for your purpose if not a little better.

Ok thanks everyone. So. Codenames are a group of weapons or a specific weapon? If it?s a single weapon can you tell me the specs.

Codenames are guns like ONYX, IRON HAMMER, JADE, etc, and almost all of them have stats like so- (if my memory serves)

2.00 refire
1200 hull damage/shot
230 energy/shot
600 speed

-OR-

3.03 refire
800 hull damage/shot
170 energy/shot
600 speed

The exceptions to this trend are GOLDENBLADE, which has 650 speed, and SOLARIS, which has 4.00 refire (similar dps and energy efficiency if I recall).

While doing piles of damage, they drain your powerplant like there's no tomorrow and as such work best when you are in a bomber rather than a VHF- "heavy" VHFs like the Werewolf and such are an exception to this and do well with codename weapons.

For most ships though, I find that 1-2 improved debilitators and the rest filled out with class 9 faction guns (and possibly a cannonball missile) works a lot better. For Freelancers, Heavy Flashpoints available on Graves Station in Dublin and Zoner Fury 5s available on Freeport 9 or Gran Canaria (and a few other places that I forget) will work fine. For those, if my memory serves, they have stats like so-

8.33 refire
210-230 hull damage/shot
60-70 energy/shot
700 or 750 speed (which syncs perfectly with debilitators)

Hope that helps.
