Good day to you, Junkers. I write to you today under dire circumstances due to an event that occurred earlier today in Texas.
In essence, DSE combat vessels were harassing and even attacking an ALG scrap collector, under the mistaken impression that the Texas fields are theirs to claim.

Worse still, they insist they're in the right about this, effectively declaring war on us via neural net transmission.

<Read-only link>

Junkers and ALG have been reaping scrap in Texas' bountiful fields for a long time, a cooperation that has worked beautifully and profited both of us.
Now however we seem to have an aggressive new player that seems intent on driving us out.
As a response, we've been moving security assets into Texas, preparing for conflict.

I'm not asking for assistance with this, I'm informing you of a disturbing development in a system we all have big stakes in. Particularly since they seem intent on bringing you into this by insisting DSE and Junkers have exclusive rights to the fields. Unlike you and us, they are not major players in the scrapping business and it's obvious their hostility stems from my company's house of origin.

Anyway, that's that I suppose.

To the JM: I know we've had our differences, to put it lightly, in other parts of Sirius. Yet so far we've cooperated well in Texas, I hope we can keep it that way.

-Thanks for your time, Lena Atzenbruck, ALG president

Our cooperation adjusts to the situation.
If you desire more from us, then I suggest we take a step back; As long as you're assisting our enemies, we do not feel strongly opinonated whether you are kicked from the fields or not.
However, I cannont turn a blind eye to your reliability and usefulness within the Texas fields. We will be watching how the situation develops in the coming days.

If a shooting war starts off between you and dse your gonna lose. The military and the bleedin cops are going to make sure of that.

So Im suggesting right now that you focus your harvesting efforts to the south fields closer to Purto Rico. If trouble follows? then we will have to get everyone in a room and talk about it but for now lets try and keep the bleedin law from moderating a gang fight and keep them the hell out our collective business.

Its nicer down here anyway.

To: G.M of the Marauders:

To make this clear, we're not asking you for help. We're simply informing you because of developments in an area you have an interest in, and because your organization is currently one of the most active Junker groups.

I know we've had difficult, even hostile encounters elsewhere. And I'm sure you know well that we can't abandon our allies elsewhere, even if they're your enemies.
But I hope, for the sake of keeping scrapping operations in Texas peaceful, we can remain on good terms out there.
Relations are a difficult and dirty thing at times, but as of late I think it's safe to say we've been working well together. We've often been collecting scrap in Texas together with JM ships, and it's our desire to keep that functioning well.

To: JJS of the Congress:

We do not intend to expand this "war" in any way. They have, on both occasions that turned hostile, fired the first shots, and we have documented that.
That having been said, we have no intention whatsoever of bringing Liberty's Police or Navy into this, because I have no doubt our position would be hard to maintain, even considering all the records.

Still, I absolutely do not wish to give in to their bullying. Forcing us out of the fields is exactly what they want, and we will not yield to that.
We will settle this among ourselves, without the law intervening, with lasers if necessary. We will not start any fights within the vicinity of Beaumont, or indeed anywhere else, but if they attack us as they have been doing, we will defend ourselves.
I don't expect this will escalate much more or last much longer, but until then we're taking a strong defensive stance.

-Thanks again for your time, Lena Atzenbruck, ALG president
