Is this an admission on the part of the admin team that they don't care about community members and simply enforce the rules for the sake of it, rather than keeping people from being unfairly hurt? It sounds like it, when a member of the admin team implies that all complaints about any sort of administration decision are ignored, as Garrett implies in this quote.

No. This is stating that the accusation of unfairness is levelled at pretty much every action the admins take ever, often by the person who was sanctioned, but also in other situations. The majority of these complaints about being treated unfairly, are laughable at best.

My particular favourite was the guy who ran around new york for an hour, repeatedly re-engaging and screaming the C-word at the top of his little text based lungs, and was thoroughly surprised at getting banned for it. He claimed that banning him was grossly unfair, when the guy who accidentally bumped into his ship and by doing so provoked him to his actions, didn't get any penalty at all.

This is the sort of crap that gets filed as complaints of unfairness... Most of these complaints are so absurd they are funny.

What's even better is that those old catchphrases of "admin bias!" or whatever, are often cynically used to rouse a bit of a rabble and cause some problems - normally to distract the community from the wrongdoings or shortcomings of the person who is doing the rabble-rousing.

You know... admin misconduct is easier to prove than member's innocence. The lot of you are miserable nags on this server. The lot of you inspire to degenerate this entire team, because you were butthurt at one point and you feel you've been mistreated. Or been butthurt in RL so you come here to try to butthurt everyone else. Mistreatment is not the business of this admin team. Never was, never will be. Your conspiracies of appointed butthurt, butthurts the entire forum.

My point is... stop attention butthurting yourselves and play the game.
