Dear Administrator Robert d'Autoine,

Just a fast update on an unfolding situation in Omega 9 as there was an engagement near Freeport 101 after an IMG supply mission was disrupted by dangerous JM piracy transports, a Behemoth and a Percheron class, heavily armed and armored.

As you know, Junker Marauders have been attacking IMG mining assets in the Taus and major fighting has started after their aggressive acts. We are still working on these things around Freeport 10, when 2 JM vessels abused the Freeport 10 zone. Is there any reaction to that already? I am curious.

This O 9 situation: The IMG was running 5 transports and a Hegemon full of supplies to Freeport 101. The front echelon was already at FP101 when it spotted the Marauders coming from Omega 7. The rear echelons had to evade, as the Marauders were here to interdict and destroy us, there can be no doubt.



When the security wings arrived, they found the Piper Maru trapped by a raised shield, with the Marauders sitting next to it.





They had tried successfully to trap the transport, their intention was clear. After some conversation, a fight started between the IMG Defense vessels, an ALG fighter craft and the Marauders. One Junker was destroyed. The other retreated to Omega 7.

I think it is in our common best interest to not have the IMG supply shipments intercepted by our enemy. The base has been short on supplies a few times in the last weeks and we will not allow the flow of supplies to be interrupted by our enemies that seem to have followed us from the Taus.

Hello Mr. Henderson, Prescot here. I have adminstrators commlink credentials and as i see Mr. Antoine hasnt replied for long period i taken freedom to respond.

Very strange that marauders ventured in omegas sector. They made quite a stir around. But this is open act of hostility against zoners. One thing is to erm... ambush some lonely trading ship in independent and distant systems. Thats a risk we undertaken by living there , but attacking freeport supply convoys is very arrogant and offensive act. They will never be allowed to dock for this.

I am not sure how Commonwealth handle things in space as i am growing exotic plants in my biodomus on freeport 1 and dont get too much excited about foreign afffairs. Retired old man hobby. I will return to space someday.
