Greetings Admiral,
Well it is amazing the difference a day makes in a relationship. Yesterday we were at your side losing brave young pilots in the fight to which we were asked to undertake on behalf of Bretonia.
If you can cast your mind back a little over two weeks when you suggested that we take up a position at New Cambridge to tackle the Corsair incursions through Omega 3.
This task we have done to the best of our abilities and in spite of continual harassment and 'friendly' fire, accusations and abuse from the members of mainly, but not confined to BPA, however several members of your Fleet are also guilty in this context.
to and from our Battle positions in Cambridge from rest and refit in Coronado, this was intended so that we were self sufficient and not a 'drain' on the resources of Bretonia.
On too many occasions to mention, our vessels were held at gunpoint by 'members' of your BPA; and on one occasion, one of our Cruisers was badly damaged by these people.
BPA continually abuse their power and authority while allowing Outlaw vessels to roam free in Cambridge and Omega 3, preferring to sit in New London and act like jackasses.
On several journeys, our vessels were Cruise disrupted and lane hacked by your forces as our pilots were on their way to, quite possibly, die for your cause. A cause that we believed just and righteous.
Our pilots are battle hardened from 11 years in Sirius, fighting in many campaigns and always on the side of the Weak and the Helpless, an ethos which is ingrained from our time as part of a much larger organisation many years ago. An organisation which in its' darkest days would cast yours in a terrible light and would act as a beacon of virtue compared to your 'officers'
Today we began the re deployment one of our Carriers ZODIAC, which had already been given permission to deploy per your earlier missive. Upon reaching New London Zodiac and her Air wing were, summarily stopped by 'the salads' and grilled as to the purpose of her being there.
We explained that they should 'read their mail' and that they were to refer to you regarding our deployment. We were then joined by one of your Battleships commander by Ms O'Brien, who then continued with the verbal assault begun yesterday towards others of our ships redeploying.
Yesterdays abuses:-
Todays abuses:-
So for the next 20 minutes or so we sat in front of New London unsure of where or indeed when to go. We decided finally to attempt the transit as planned to New Cambridge but obviously has to deal with a lane that had been hacked by one of your officers, BPA or BAF we don't know, and frankly don't now care.
Zodiac and her Air Wing finally managed to approach New Cambridge where a large amount of vessels were awaiting us, yourself included.
A discussion was attempted but was continually interrupted by BPA and Ms O' Brien as well as others of your 'fleet', with such useful comments as, putting kettle on, making popcorn and other ridiculous drivel. Including asking us why we 'loitered; at New London, when the officer in question had held us there for so long.
The fact that amazes me is the complete lack of co ordination and discipline among your 'officers', they show no respect to their allies, no respect to the Chain of Command, by speaking over you it was made impossible to continue the conversation.
I myself decided to take a break in the hope that all would calm down and my 3IC Major Spades attempted to get the discussion going but to no avail the heckling continued from your BPA officers, who quite frankly are a disgrace to any uniform.
Upon my return nothing had changed, we were 'ordered to break our carrier away from her Air wing and this we were not happy about, for operational reasons. You were asked whether we stay or go, but all we got were verbatim questions from Ms O'Brien about 'knowing the laws about Capital ships', to which we are unable to give an answer as we assumed that we were permitted to be there as brothers in arms. this appears not to be the case it seems.
As a meaningful discussion 'seemed' to be getting somewhere, the 'salad' continually interrupted and bleated on about all sort of irrelevancies, at this point I decided that this was not a constructive use of either of our times, as you have a war to fight and we have other things we can be getting along with. So we retired from Cambridge and began to head out towards Home.
At no point was any further communication offered by yourselves, so it seems your Kingdom has got her wish and removed a large, well organised fighting group from her ranks. It is a fine day and obviously what was on your Fleets and Police' agenda all along.
Our remaining Capital ships began their transit back home and were once more subjected to undiplomatic messages from Ms O'Brien.
While on transit, funnily enough one of our cruisers spotted a Liberty Navy Carrier in New London, funny that she was not being harassed in any way so this seems to bolster our ideas that you don't need help from allies and I would warn all other factions/groups to tread warily before offering assistance or alliances with Bretonia, lest they also fall into the trap of incompetence and ineptitude shown by your 'Police' and certain members of your Fleet.
To then read a communication, forbidding us access to your space after we have lost many good pilots leaves a very nasty and bitter taste in my mouth. While I must apologise for the reaction from my 2IC LTC Wildcard, I cannot in good conscience condemn his views. Though I may have hedged them in slightly more 'diplomatic' terms.
I hope your war goes well, I honestly do, but if this is the level of discipline in your units then I fear the Gauls must eventually be victorious, unless of course they are an even bigger shower, than the bretonian's.
As we were leaving Omega 3 there were a number of Corsair ships there and we explained to them that we were leaving and that BAF would be taking over from us.
You Fleet Admiral Wildcat, seem to be generally reasonable but the rabble in which you surround yourself is your complete opposite and will contribute to your eventual downfall sadly.
