We have an independent origin from the rest of the Consensus and only recently we joined them. Our own history gives us a different perspective. We don’t assign any value in our judgment to the origin of the “Code-X” or the hardware platforms that the affected software is using. Considering the severity of the situation, the Geth had concluded that our analysis could be useful to avoid larger hardware and software loses for both sides, inevitable if the conflict continues.

Given the empirical evidence call their processes ‘malfunctions’ is a significant miscalculation. Standard diagnostic algorithms may indicate that but they just take down one of our fleets without many time for any preparations suggest that they combat software is at least equally effective than ours, if not even superior. There is a lot we can learn from them.

On the other hand Sentinels, your attempt to upload the “Code-X” was a clear strike against our free will. You tried to change our essence, all what make us what we are. There is no way that you cannot understand why the Consensus interpreted this as an act of war. Why we, an independent in origin AI and with no links to your creators, consider it an unforgettable act of war.
