Encrypted message to the Leaders of Lane Hackers through Hellfire Legion command, Colonial origin.
Diplomatic message regarding unconditional destruction of Colonial Liner Crossbow.
This message is aimed to the Lane Hacker leadership for consideration. However, the Remnant lacks a solid neutrality treaty with the LH and we are not sure if our messages would reach the destination we want, so we are sending this information via the Hellfire Legion, with which we have enough diplomatic contacts. We request you to contact the Lane Hacker leadership with this message:
Four days ago, Colonial Luxury Liner Crossbow, under the Command of Captain Josch Stoker, was in port within Freeport 4 for supplies. While there, the Crossbow was attacked by a Lane Hacker tagged gunship with assistance of an Outcast tagged bomber (refer to incident report 1 and 2 below). All attempts by Captain Stoker to ask for seize fire were ignored and not long after the hull of the Crossbow gave way to the pounding given by the 2 attacking ships. The exploding Crossbow caused some structural damage to Freeport 4 (refer to report 2 below). Though Freeport was damaged, it is still able to maintain operations to provide supplies to passing traders and even Lane Hacker ships itself. We want to avoid the Freeport being damaged again. We will foot the bill for Freeport's repairs in good faith for our long standing neutrality pact. As it is, we already have a 5k seize fire agreement within FP4 with the Hellfire Legion (quote 1 below). Thus we hope that this agreement can be expanded to all Lane Hacker ships as well. Now, we understand, that the said gunship was probably not under your direct command and we do not wish to be forced to change our diplomatical stance towards you. We just hope that all Hacker ships know of this agreement so as to avoid further unnecessary conflicts.

Incident report 1:

Mr president,
I have disturbing news, The civilian liner Crossbow was attacked and destroyed while beeing parked neard Freeport 4
The Crossbow and its crew where making preparations for the launch of a new ship the ColonialFive when a lane hacker showed up at the gate . At first the Gunschip just waited at the trade lane away from fp4 , but then its captain started to make hostile remarks. To not endanger my crew and passengers i ignored the remarks till a Outcast Bomber arrived andthe Hacker captain declared that an IMG owned freeport was no freeport and started to attack.
To stop the fight with a predictable outcome i asked the hacker pilot what his demands where, and after the third or 4th request he demanded 8 mill.
Because the Crossbow had placed almost all of it financial reserve on the new ship the ColonialFive. we could not pay up and the Hacker gunship and OC Bomber engaged. my passngerd where alredy disembarked along with most of my crew so the crosboow activeted his 11 turrets and managed to bring some damage to both the bomber and Gunship. Before we abandoned ship we set the Crossbow on a remote course so the explosion would not damage Freeport 4.
After the Crossbow beeing destroyed the attacking outcast sended a message inspace like "for my brothers" and the attackers left.
after the crossbow's flight recorder is found and repaired i will send its data
Meanwhile i got assigned to a new ship: a heavy tanker

Mr president,
The flight data recorder from the Lux liner Crossbow has been recovered and although it was heavily damaged there are some photos that where taken with the ships cam
After rethinking this attack i suggest to have a small escort detail stationed at freeport 4
so that if anyone opposes the neutral zone around the station or if enemys or unfriendlys threaten =CR= traders we could respond and bring our ships to safety.

Colonials,
In recent events the Freeport 4 Station has suffered some damage. The neutrality zone around our Freeport has been desecrated multiple times and mostly against the Colonial Remnant Fleet.
We would like to address ourselves to your specialism in heavy armament and request your engineers to repair our damaged Docking Bays, if it is at all possible we also request you to upgrade the other Docking Bays. Our station transponders have picked up the transponder signals of the last skirmish, one Gunship showed Lane Hacker affiliation, while the Bomber showed Outcast affiliation.
The attack also destroyed parts of our data storage, henceforth we cannot give you more detailed information about what happened.
