Lords and Ladies of this far-flung place,
Forgiveness I ask of you,
My Liege and lord to my face,
Has asked me show this true.
A song I wrote of a warriors fate,
His heart and will true,
I ask you now sit and wait
As I see this song through.
The Song of Kolnatt The Iosvartr
In the void of space
Desperate fighters drew a line
Where mercy has no place;
They had run out of time
Twice their might,
Without anything to lose,
Looking for a fight,
Their attack no ruse,
Nightfall the Swift
stood before their first wave,
his ship and skills
to victory would pave.
His iron stead
of Steel and glory,
ensured a fate for his foes
most untimely and gory.
The Ice-tinted field
Would not slow him down,
His Mauler fought on,
His will unbound.
In midst of battle he heard the call,
He saw where his hammer-stroke must fall,
Swirling blood and metallic pain,
He through it saw Macduffman - Honor's bane.
His ship unprepared,
His honor on the line,
He thought nothing of his disadvantage,
Just; destroy the swine,
Their weapons clashed,
And battle was found,
and regions of space shook,
as it echoed with sound,
The honor-wail of the under-gunned,
Forced the enemy to a fate unsung,
The battle forged a warrior new,
Nightfall stepped forth, his ship still flew,
Nightfall as he was, was no more,
He had earned a new name,
Kolnatt The Iosvartr
Let the Dark Night soar.

All Warriors of the WA,

Umm... When did this happen? Just, out of curiosity.
This is the real true story of rock and roll; it was not about anything more then, how to live your life, as a gangster, in sartorial splendor, and turning the world into a place where normality would never return again...- Malcolm McLaren
Still, it's nifty that Nightfall got a song written about him. :D

to all: After my surprise and the Iron Curtain that fell over my tongue lifted, now when I ponder upon it... I feel that becoming a living legend, a person that a Skald found inspiration to Glorify my humble achievements in Battle and pour them into a poem... my Ego got an overdose injection of Cardamine!
to Wolfpack98: JUST JOKING!!! Don't jump all over me for the Ego trip! As a former (note: former) egomaniac I had to let myself have the luxury. :P
btw, I think I realise why it's Wolfpack98 and not just Wolf - you attack like a pack of 99 wolves (the Alpha Wolf + the pack of 98 wolves) when someone pi$$es you!
*Note the smiley! I had to have a little poke at it. If you respond the same way, no offense will be taken
to Angel: I think nobody would have had anything to say if you moved the topic to the section to which it belongs to. I would have done it myself, but my powers on this forum are quite limited. Thank You, My Lady!
