Regarding Freeport 9

I would like to take this opportunity to wholeheartedly throw my support behind Administrator Rask. His move to gain additional security for Freeport 9 in exchange for providing a forward operating base for Freeport 9 is one that I wholly support in light of the recent tensions caused by the rabble rousing actions of the former administrator of Freeport 11.

I would also like to encourage any and all administrators of Freeports bith within and without the Confederation to, if you feel it necessary, seek additional shelter from the coming storm with the Temporary Autonomous Zoners.

In light of the actions of the group known as the Phoenix in their support of the administrator of Freeport 11 without allowing a thorough investigation to be done regarding the depth of his involvement in the Baffin Summit Incident I would suggest against asking them for help. You may just find your station becoming an Order outpost.

You likely don't know me and you likely normally only talk to posh business people, but it's me you are talking to now.

Arcelia Chavez, wingleader of The Corsair Brotherhood [TBH]. I just docked at Freeport 9 after disassembling an Order strikefleet, when I heard these news. As a group with interests in the Omicrons, and a visitor and una amiga of the Freeports everywhere, and an enemy of the Order, this sparked my interest.

Let me get straight to the point: There is a threat of Freeport 11 becoming an Order outpost, realmente?

What happened? Some Baffin things, that I don't even know where that is. And only weird rumors of Zoners turning on Zoners? And now FP9 changes to TAZ, whatever that means for me in reality?

Anyway, you are a man who knows all these internal things. Send me some info file*** on what happened. We are interested. Rapido, if you can. And if this Order taking Freeport 11 is more than a rumor, caramba, hell will freeze over before that happens on my watch.

Dear Ms./Mrs. Chavez

Suffice to say it is entirely likely that Freeport 11 will become an Order outpost or at least align itself much more closely with them.

The summation of facts is as follows.

Freeport 11 was once the personal demesne of Administrator Marvin. At the end of his tenure as Administrator he passed the Freeport to me to allocate it to a new Administrator.

On further reflection of what Freeport 11 had become in it's isolated state with barely any connection to the rest of Sirius and no oversight, that being a den of debauchery set up for the sole purpose of pleasing one man, I decided that if I was to appoint an administrator they would have to be under oversight to prevent the injustices of the past from repeating themselves.

With that in mind I appointed Administrator Douglas to the station with the verbal agreement that he would not seek to set himself up as a dictator and that he would not pass information to parties which had hostile intentions towards the Zoner populace in general.

This specifically was meant to combat the potential leaks to the Order of sensitive information regarding upcoming summits and meetings as I had previously known Administrator Douglas had strong sympathy for their cause.

Then at the Baffin summit, an event hosted by the Zoners and communicated almost solely to Zoners Admiral Golanski of the order arrived and started making threats towards the Temporary Autonomous Zoners there on board the ship Persephone.

After the station was put into lockdown to protect the delegates, Administrator Douglas and his second in command fled the station, in light of this I decided to remove Administrator Douglas from command of the station and place it in lockdown whilst a thorough investigation could be conducted.

At this point, a previously unknown to me third in command attempted to lock down the station herself and stated that Freeport 11 would be seceding from the Confederation of Freeports. I naturally demanded to know what this meant and that is when the Phoenix decided to move into the station and defend the actions of Administrator Douglas and his subordinates and furthermore declare that they would actively defend the station against all who would attempt to remove them from their snatched power.

And that is how the situation stands now.
