Junker Leadership,
Today while on patrol, some of my wingmen encountered a group of Contari Lance pilots in the Jersey Debris fields. The three hostile fighters were chased over to the Badlands where there was a prolonged fight. En route, I was informed that my men had briefly seen a trade vessel of theirs at the edge of their scanning range.
On a hunch, I took a back way around to try to ambush that ship, but instead came across a second transport. Nonetheless, I pursued this Outcast vessel, but before I could catch up and disrupt its cruise drives, it was granted docking access to moor at Beaumont Base!
I respectfully request that you sort out this docking "issue" and see to it that it doesn't happen again. This is an enormous security threat, one which we will not take lightly.
"You see what your knowledge tells you you're seeing. ... how, what you think the universe is, and how you react to that in everything you do, depends on what you know. And when that knowledge changes, for you, the universe changes. And that is as true for the whole of society as that is for the individual. We all are what we know, today. What we knew yesterday, was different; and so were we."
- James Burke, The Day the Universe Changed (1985)
