hessians, tell me about them

So I'm currently extremely bored, and looking for something new and interesting to do. I've never played a red Hessian character, nor dealt with them much, and I would like to try the faction out.

So, if anyone here has some good info on hessians, spit out out. What do they do, what cause do they fight for, who do they like or hate, so on and so forth.

As far as I know, they are revolutionaries. They fight to conquer the Omegas from the corsairs and why they fight the Rhienland govt. is unknown to me. They basically pirate, fight corsairs/raid corsair space, smuggle Blood Diamonds and hit those guys pretty hard, who smuggle artifacts.

[Derkylos]

They are the workers of Rheinland who were stiffed by Daumann and Kruger after the 80 years war, so took up arms against their former employers. The Corsair front is kind of a secondary aspect of their activities, basically the Corsairs want into Rheinland, and the Hessians are fairly patriotic.

Short summary on Hessian RP:

You're poor miner that was thrown out of work, for Rheinland's situation imagine Germany in 1920th. Now you join Hessians because there is no much choice if you don't want to become a Rheinwehr's cannon fodder in the army. Then you found out that being into revolution is boring and makes little coin so you start shaking out miners and traders while still covering your mess up with 'revolution cause'.

Then Corsairs come and try to steal your traders and you pew with them because all traders are yours. (Or should be)
