I have never been to NY in my Rhienlaind Military ship hence the thread to clarify the rules / feelings surrounding it.

If you go there in your big ol Battleturtle everyone and their gran will log their bombers and capships to come slap you to death.
That's just the way of it, the same would happen if someone drove their Dread into new Berlin, I imagine.
Fair enough if you're into getting shot to bits for others amusement but otherwise there's no real reason for you to go to NY just stay in Texas.

You could pick Intel (BDM, was it?) ship, which is nothing bigger than fighter (preferably Light Fighter due to speed). There's more logical reasons for BDM to visit NY than for RM player tho.
