Nomad ID's

So i started a nomads account and had a little fly around, shot a few people then found i cant tractor beam anything i have a nomad ID witch i though was my tractor beam, but then i see other nomad i was fighting with tractor beaming my loot.

If there is anyway around this, the help would be much appreciated because there are not many ways to make money as a nomad.

Nomad Indies have tractor beams disabled altogether, basiclly, and many will agree, making an nomad indy is like putting your bank into a black hole, its not possible to make money off the nomad indy ID, the only way to tractor stuff as a nomad would be the Nomad Trial ID in which case you cannot attack unless in self defense and you can only use a light fighter (morph) or to join the primary K'hara in which case you will find you still need to RP before engagement, more over, they normally don't accept people unless they've been here a while and can learn nomadic stuff. So sorry your out of luck if you planned to use the nomad indy ID for money as its tractor beam is fully disabled altogether and will stay like that unless the admins/devs change it

If the other nomad had K'Hara in its name, then its part of the primary nomad faction in which case you need to sign up to join.

There once was a time when nomad ID was exclusive to K'hara alone (im plretty sure there was just 1 faction) and it was mega hard to get in. They lately added the nomad indy feature because that faction was petty dead. It also got SIGNIFICANTLY easier to join. People used write freakin' books to get in.

Shame... oh well.

Anyway the Nomad indy is just another tool to try out the nomad ships and what not.

Yea the nomads don't have transports anyway. It is strictly a faction to throw money at and have fun with your nomnom toy ))
