Right! Got that one all fixed up. I guess this is gonna' be my log for my new project thing...
God, this feels weird, talking to myself... Anyway, I finally got into contact with the Gallics, and we're going to arrange a meeting sometime. Here's hoping they let me tag along on one of their ops... I might be able to snag a turret that's not too badly damaged.
I had to make sure the Pounder would fit, though. Gotta' make sure the old girl's got a spot the big boy will fit... Mneheh... The Junkers on Trafalgar were more than happy to create a scrap metal mockup of what the big ol' turret will look like on the Clyde, and I've gotta say, it looks great!

So, if I get to meet up with that weird woman from the Royal transmission, and all goes well... Hopefully me and the boys will be able to salvage an intact Pounder from a Dunkirk! One step closer to being the ultimate Pirate in Sirius!
Though, that would imply I'm not already the ultimate Pirate... Eh, whatever.
I went snooping around near Trafalgar today. Found some old scrapped hulks from older Bretonian vessels. The Junkers have picked all the parts out that they could sell for decent scrap prices. All that was left were some old cables, hull plating, and support spars.
The latter should come in handy, however, for reinforcing the cargo hold and left inlet supports to handle the force exerted by the new main blaster.
The funny GRN person has yet to actually organize a meeting. I'm hoping they're not just jerking off my chain, or however the saying goes. My second plan isn't quite as brilliant as the first. Here's a diagram.
And look what fell off the 'Kirk! A bigass powercore routing system! At least, that's what the schematics that Zoner sold me says it is. After some careful trimming, we managed to fit it all into the Clydedales bays and hauled it back to Trafalgar. Once I threw enough money at a few dozen Junkers to sort through it, we've come up with some really useful stuff. A bunch of military-grade power distribution equipment, hull plating strong enough to coat a massive reactor core, and a bunch of other useful things! Jackpot!
Here's hoping tomorrow's just as good, dear diary.
