Expert coming through
You are browser hijacked, it places ads everywhere even on your usually ad-free google.com
Revenue goes to the browser hijacker, not discoverygc.com or wherever the ad is placed
Burning firefox won't work, it'll also hijack internet explorer and google chrome and maybe even the opera browser you just mentioned

2: Delete suspicious stuff such as

3: Do some settings adjustment for your firefox, preferably back to the prior state to your browser hijacking

4: Reopen firefox and you should be done

DO NOT click on the banner that says "scan now", thats a false one......spazzy tsk tsk, you should know better than that

install, "malware bytes maleware remover", and/or "spybot search and destroy" use version 1.6.2), both free

reboot into safe mode, and scan with both, let it remove everything it/they find, (both safe, been using these for years)

Also, if you didn't realised yet or if noone mentioned yet there is a small text under the ads saying "ads not by this site" or smth different. ADS by adbest or smth like that. Then it's spyware on your PC creating these

Thanks for the answers! I'll purge the spyware! Spybot Search & Destroy is an old friend of mine.
