I love the idea, someone should definatley take it up.

However not sure about the screams, it is in space after all. No noise. But then i spose on the other hand you have all the weird freelancer sound effects.

Hm, but then the pods have to be made to take space, so there is only space for 500 - 1000 passengers. Even the poor ones demand a bit of comfort.

Instead of cargo pods for passengers to put on the generic power trader donkey, liners would be the better solution. I had not found the time to finish my liner for 4.85, but i will for 4.86.

Hey, i got an idea now. Since FL Hook is such a powerful tool we could limit all passenger like commodities to liners only.

Just a thought. I don't know if this can be done.

Is it possible to make the pod appearance be determined by the cargo carried?

eg Passengers get pothole theme. AO, Nomad stuff, artifacts etc get a bio warning Pod skin. Perishables get a Fragile/Persihables skin. Radioactives get a Radiation symbol and scheme. General cargo is plain.

By making the cargo determine the skin the ships will in be RP colours with no effort or need to enforce/cajole etc. Major Item in hold determines theme.
