Another person poked their head into the room but remained out of view for the most part, a girl with hair just like Stones..and eyes...and...it looked just like her? She didn't say a thing but stared off at Grey with an odd look of sorts, as if trying to determine if this was someone who she could trust herself. Stone didn't notice her however and leaned back "Last place I relaxed at..and this might sound odd..was Malta during my ops there...while I was using a O2 tank most of the time, the Cross got a way with...luxury so to speak..."
She leaned up "I tried to find some while in the Hellfire but...like, relaxing with them was like trying to get the grand admiral to agree with a Core agent.." she rolled her eyes and looked at Grey "How long do you plan to stay? That is..if you plan to stay.."
Liara seemed to ponder for a few moments following the inquiry"I doubt my visit will be prolonged to be honest, however I'm not in a hurry so, I'll linger around a bit longer for now, or at least until something comes up and I'm recalled."
She seemed somewhat uneasy while speaking, as if being watched and not by the gaze of those around her in the room, though she couldn't quite point it out and suppressed her instincts for the time being, turning to Aelita"But I am curious, who long are you planning to stay here ? I mean, once you're back to 100%, you might get bored, unless this place is busier than meets the eye."she inquired merely out of curiosity.
Within the server room, Jason attempted to work around the system's security. He looked around the console for a connection slot. Upon spotting it, he reached for an extendable cable starting out from what seemed to be a portable processing unit build within the interior rear side of his body armor.
Plugging it in, the unit booted automatically and uploaded a bypass shunt program serving the purpose of both attempting to crack the password protecting the system to allow him access aswell as immediately transfer copies of every accessible file within the system, encrypted or not, back to Jason's mainframe.
The data mining commenced as the agent began going through the stray bits and pieces of info gathered from the non-secure sections of the system while awaiting for a result from the bypassing program hard at work.
Jess leans back, watching the two talk. It was their reunion afterall. Merely enjoying her drink. Wondering where Tara or Rachel were. Probably still sleeping or something, huh..
"Can't deny we are busy. You caught us on one of our downtimes. We have a few things going in and out usually. "
The server didn't seem to like the cracking program at first. Lagging slightly as it tried to recognize what external access was pushing at it. The cryptography was standard, granted it wasn't made to be hacked into easily, it would have given away eventually. Oddly enough, it seems that the password wasn't the only thing which was required for the contents to be opened up in a plaintext form. Nearby, a area starts to glow slightly as LEDs flip on. It was a slot. An oddly shaped one, some sort of jagged cylinder. Almost like an arrowhead shape.
The system stops. Waiting. The password supplied to it from the cryptography system was correct. That wasn't all it needed though. Whatever software was running on the system, it sure wasn't standard. Located on the bottom right in small text, was a tiny credits with the name 'Rachel Snow' on it.
There was a physical aspect to it. The reader in the slot seemed foreign. If you wanted direct access, you needed more than a password. It was a pain that direct access was the only way you could unfold all of the systems contents.
The unencrypted files were of various subjects. A lot of them actually seemed to be documents designed to teach someone things. How engines work. Physics documents. It appeared that the things stored on the open partition were mainly used to teach perhaps one of the younger kids who lived on the Bell.
She shrugs and sighs "Doc Holliday said I should never return to space, regardless how well I heal, he said another problem like that, and I won't survive..and this place? Let me say this, this place reminds me of the Winter's Last Stand, its to...cozy and nice to be anything more then a home." Smiling at her own words. The girl watching soon quickly moves behind the couch Jessica is sitting on, and tries to hide behind her, saying nothing and just watching still
