I write the songs I'm given to sing,
If no glorious battle you've ever seen,
has been given to me to make great,
well then how could a song be your fate?

If you want a record made,
of the enemies you way-layed,
a descriptive fight need i be sent,
Leaving nothing out-where everyone went.

I do not play this game you see,
and I cannot make up battles be,
I need others to tell me of,
so I can write of glory from above.
