Colonials.....Mr. Johnson,

You have some explaining to do. I received a report of an incident where the Colonial Remnant's: CR|-Heinkel and CR|-CM-Shishapangma and an associated Freelancer Fleece-Johnson fired upon Outcasts ships from the no-fire zone of my base as according to this evidence:

Mr. Johnson, you are right against my base when you say, "Time to die, Casts." I consider this an act of aggression and a violation of Freeport law.
CR|-Heinkel, you're ship is right behind him as is the Shishapangma. I do see incoming fire from someone but it is not clear as to who. Until you provide evidence to the contrary, you are charged with a violation of Freeport law.

Now I am guessing I will here something like "Well, they fired first so we cannot defend ourselves?" If so, provide the proof.
I'm also guessing I'll here something like, "Picking sides with those Cardi sniffers?" Again, provide proof that they also violated Freeport law.
Fact is, in evidence one, someone's mine hit my base. While no one was hurt and there was no damage, this is an example of why we have these laws. I do not care who fires first, get 5k away and then do your worst to whoever you like. Your politics do not concern me.

Each of you is assessed a fine of 25 million credits as my people had to repair a damaged transport and an apology will be provided.

Good day Commander Matok,

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention.
I regret to have to inform you that you have been the target of a misinformation campaign by the Outcasts, likely the owner of these slave transports?

As you may know, we, the Crayter Republic are fighting slavery as good as we can, because we believe that everyone should be free to choose what to do with their life, just as you Zoners, who, as far as I know, left the houses for their own freedom.
As such I find it worrying that you attempt to protect slavers, people that would not think twice if they could sell your life to someone else, to abuse it for their own selfish enrichment, from their righteous punishment.
I do agree that our pilots should have been more careful to not damage your base and I will personally take care that you receive the goods, engineers and workers required to repair the damage done. You will however not receive any monetary compensation.

Now let me tell you what happened and what led our people to fire at the slavers that close to your base.
The Colonial pilots had tracked the slavers in Coronado, and chased them towards Baffin.

The slavers kept moving, so a part of my soldiers laid out a trap in the Tau 29 system, to stop these slavers and to make sure that the poor souls onboard their vessels could receive their much earned freedom. However, the slavers refused to let their 'cargo' go, even mocking the people in their ships with tales about them 'wishing to find a new home', as if they ever were given a choice.

This was when our pilots decided to free the slaves by force, sadly they did not manage to stop the criminals before they reached the freeport, so they were left with the coice of letting thousands of innocents go into their own demise, or to act.
They chose the second option and terminated the slavers. The Freelancer vessel that was close to the Freeport at that time, saw the drama that was about to happen and as a Freelancer, which knows the value of freedom, decided to aid out soldiers.

Our pilots acted with their best intentions and did not aim to harm you or your people, their goal was to save the lifes of over 7000 innocents, which otherwise would have died on the fields of Malta in the near future.
The fault in this accident is entirely on the slavers side, as they were the ones that refused to let the innocents go and instead attempted to endanger you and your people. Now that you know what has happened, you should consider to put the blame on those that really are responsible.

I am sorry for what has happened, but I hope you understand why it was necessary.
The offer I made stands, we will help you to repair the damage caused as we value you Zoners as friends and neighbors.
